Review Centre: 1950s & 60s Style Bands

"What a great night was had at Fairlands Community Centre when The Shakesterss came to play at our St Georges Day celebrations. As predicted, everyone from all age groups were soon up dancing to all their favourite songs, and when worn out with dancing sang along with them. The band obviously enjoyed playing and interacting with guests - and even joining in with the raffle held. They even managed to walk away with a few prizes!!! Thanks guys for helping to make our evening a success."

"Solid Gold were the band I chose for my 70th birthday party. They responded immediately to my initial requests and communication was excellent throughout the process. In the day they arrived early despite quite a long journey to get to our corner of Kent, and began setting up immediately. They are a talented and amiable bunch of excellent professional musicians who provided us with two brilliant one hour sets of music we’d agreed in advance, ranging from 50’s classics through to up to date popular bangers. This is their true strength; an ability to cover any kind of music to match the occasion. I cannot recommend Solid Gold highly enough, they’re a pleasure to deal with and provided a superb musical backdrop to my special evening. Thanks again guys!"

"I hired the 2 piece option for a family party after seeing the full band performing locally. However I wasn’t disappointed at all, they were just as amazing. I have to say these are my favourite band, and recommend for any function. If I was aware of them when I got married they would have got the gig. So professional throughout and made it all very easy. "We hadThe Blue Suede Shoes play at our wedding and they were absolutely fantastic! Nothing was to much trouble for them, we asked them if they could move their set half way through which they did without a problem. These guys were recommended to us from my sister and her husband and we will be recommending them to our friends and family! Great job guys! Mr and Mrs West. Xx"
