Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"We recently had Si perform at our wedding just after we got married. Si arrived discretely and set up whilst our guests were getting seated and we were tying the knot. He was an immediate hit with the guests who hadn’t seen him before, and we got lots of positive surprise when those who did recognise him saw/heard him performing as we kept it a secret. Contact with Si was great before, during and after the wedding. He sent a list of songs for us to select so he could ensure he was playing the right kind of music. Si was so good that we wish we had booked him all day and had him perform in the evening, too. We are both certain that he would have had far more people dancing than the DJ we hired. After the wedding, Si was one of our guests favourite parts of the day, with multiple guests saying they would keep an eye out for him during his tours. Don’t hesitate if you are thinking of booking Si – he’s friendly, he’s professional, and he’s a bloody good performer. Thank you, Si!

"re Ceili in The Brewery, Chiswell St. London EC1 4SD "We were delighted with our choice of Colette and her band for our recent charity céilí in central London. Their energetic caller was amazing in the number of dances she knew and the ability she had to persuade the crowd to get on their feet and dance. The music was exactly what we were looking for, the musicians very accomplished and always ready to take suggestions, and they played a mix of old favourites and some new dances to ensure that novices and experienced céilí goers had great fun. "Joe Glynn playing his sax provided a fantastic unique element to our wedding day. Joe was always available, and quickly responded with ideas as we crafted the 2 separate playlists for his music. We wanted to have a more intimate relaxed session first where Joe provided a good range of modern and classic songs, playing the melodies and solos for all our guests to enjoy. As the party started later in the evening, for Joe's second set he played a great range of up to date dance songs to add another live dimension, playing over the DJ set. The guests loved this personal touch and were dancing with Joe on the dancefloor throughout. Don't hesitate to book Joe for a great personal live performance to add that bit of extra special to your event - fully recommend!"
