"Before the event I emailed Stephen and he was very willing to play the style of music I was looking for. On the day he arrived promptly and was very friendly and calming, as I was getting a little stressed organising the party it was great that he was able to just play without any further direction. His playing was immaculate but also very expressive, I was very pleased, and all the guests commented on how much they enjoyed him there. A real treat. Thank you Stephen"

"Louise played during our welcome drinks at our wedding reception at the Old Vicarage. She listened to our ideas and adapted what she played to suit our tastes. Everyone enjoyed listening to her play and it added to the ambience of the venue and the day. Thank you Louise."

"I can not thank you enough! The whole process of booking a musician was so easy. Any questions I had were answered immediately and in a very friendly manner. I can not recommend this service enough. I have no idea where to start with feedback on our musician Claudio. He was absolutely amazing! He was such a lovely man from our communications before the wedding and on the wedding day. He was so friendly and approachable. All of the guests have said how lovely he was. Having an accordion player at the wedding is one of the best decisions we made. The music was so happy and fitted the theme of the day perfectly. Claudio played anything that was requested. He was truly amazing with his skill on the accordion. I can not recommend him enough. If I can find any reason at all to book Claudio again, I will be doing it in a heartbeat!"

"I just to say on behalf of myself and my family, thank you for making a very hard day a little easier. Everyone who I spoke to after the service yesterday commented on what a difference you made. We really can't thank you enough, The Galway Shawl was fantastic. On behalf of my Father, a big thank you. He really would of looked down and loved it. "Our fantastic accordionist, Martina Schwarz... She played all our requests ranging from Yann Tiersen and Beirut to some classics by Piaf... She played at the bandstand in Brighton, then when I walked down the aisle... She also led everyone to the restaurant, still playing!"

"Fifi and Al played a fabulous set at my Mother-in-laws 80th birthday party. It was simple to book, communication was excellent but best of all the music they played was simply wonderful. Everybody had a great time with some French classics and nothing was too much trouble for either of them. Thank you for making the day so special"

"I booked Fifi for an event celebrating my business’s 20th Anniversary and I was so delighted with the whole evening. Fifi’s accordion playing created a beautiful ‘French style’ atmosphere for my soiree and her range and choice of pieces was perfect. Not only is Fifi’s playing magical she also has a rapport with the guests that lifts the event and makes everyone smile. She even included some impromptu East End sing along tunes to the delight of our guests. I would thoroughly recommend Fifi to provide professional, enjoyable and entertaining music for any event."

Having the party on a boat made for slightly more difficult logistics but your professional yet flexible and enthusiastic approach to the situation really helped. On arrival you quickly tuned into the nature and tone of the event and your personality and sense of fun charmed everyone. You play the accordion wonderfully and is the perfect accompaniment to your beautiful voice transporting us all to a timeless Left Bank cafe in Paris. As you know, my father was enchanted by you. He said that you were the absolute highlight of the party. And that’s the first time I can remember dancing with my mum! "

We felt as carefree as if we were on an idyllic summer holiday surrounded by all our dearest friends and family - you both looked wonderful and the musical tone was absolutely perfect and delivered exactly as we wished. "Well, where do I begin. Oh! I know. My life sucked. People have hardships. People have rocky times. I found beauty, love, truth, but rarely ease, comfort, kindness. Until I met and married (15yrs later) Bernie. Then it was my 60th birthday. I had never had a party for me as I liked, in my long lumpy life. Ever. Suddenly, I had carte Blanche. Most parties I go to are a nightmare for me. So I thought, why don't I give people a template for a good party. Gross gatherings all jammed in an inadequate restaurant, no mixing etc. and you're not even hosted, you pay for steaks, liqueur coffees and other abominations all in the name of love and loyalty. But sacrificed on the alter of pleasure. Cue Fifi La Mer! Well obviously my venue was groovy. Eventually my menu was too. All as planned. The start of my death. 60! Ok then 'a new age' . Whatever. Venue. Menu. Crowd. Fifi. Me looking not as bad as usual. Result one of the best evenings of my life. I am a 'hands on' Granny, Auntie, Mother etc. I'm so passionate about who I am, where I came from etc. not because I am so great, but because I care and because they are so great. Oh and because it matters. What I want to impart, do not be boring. Do not be petty. Do not be mean. Be fabulous. Give a shit. Oh yes, and book Fifi. "
