Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"Zoe played the harp at our wedding at Butley Priory on 06/04/2024. I had previously heard her play on a school trip (I am a teaching assistant) and knew straight away that I wanted her to play at my wedding! The communication between Zoe and myself was excellent. She was very efficient at replying to my queries and keeping in contact. Zoe has a huge repertoire and gave us the opportunity to choose music for my entrance, signing of the register and our exit. She helped to make suggestions for pieces that would work well and also learnt a piece that we chose that she hadn't played for a long time. She was prompt, professional and friendly. The harp she played was full size and a beautiful instrument. It sounded wonderful with the acoustics of our venue. She played while our guests arrived, during the ceremony and then at our drinks reception. This was 3 hours in total. The music was stunning, a fantastic mix of modern and traditional. So many of our guests commented on the music and how lovely it was. I would not hesitate to recommend Zoe for any wedding or event, large or small! Thank you Zoe! "

"AMAZING! Dave is so versatile and made our wedding incredible on so many levels. We had him play during the ceremony which was perfect. He then played alongside the DH for the evening reception and really got the dancing going. Us and our guests loved the style and way in which Dave was so adaptable to so many different music styles. Throughout the whole booking process, Dave asked us of the particular songs we would like during the ceremony to ensure our music was just how we wanted it. He was then incredible at working with the DJ and playing along with the set! We would highly recommend Dave for solo sax and more upbeat DJ sets – or both! Thank you so much, Dave!"

"Ingrid recently sung at my mothers funeral. Her singing was beautiful and everyone I spoke to were blown away by her voice and commented on how special it made the funeral. Ingrid was also so professional to work with, always responding quickly and happy with the requests I made - it gave me great confidence before the funeral that all would be well and it truly was. "We booked the amazing Stephen F. Mone for our wedding in August 2021. From our first messages we knew he was the right choice (very funny and down to earth). Our special requests were easily accommodated including a slower ‘Live Lounge’ version of our first dance song and comprehensive song list. Dance floor was full all night and lots of guests commented how good Stephen was especially ‘Discoland’. Thanks so much would recommend to anyone and look forward to seeing a local set soon!"
