Ingrid Magee – Irish Vocalist for Life’s Most Meaningful Moments
Music has been at the heart of my life since childhood, and today I am honoured to share that gift with couples, families, and communities during their most treasured occasions.
I began singing in Dublin, becoming one of the first girls invited into the prestigious choir of Christchurch Cathedral. My classical training under the legendary Dr. Veronica Dunne at The Leinster School of Music laid the foundation for an international career, performing as a soloist with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, appearing at the National Concert Hall and Dublin Castle, and gracing London’s Cadogan Hall with the Mozart Symphony Orchestra. I was also proud to tour North America as lead singer in Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance.
While I cherish these experiences, my greatest joy is using my voice to bring comfort, beauty, and meaning to life’s important milestones. Whether it’s the purity of a hymn at a wedding, the tenderness of an Irish folk song at a funeral, or a modern piece chosen to honour someone special, I create moments that feel deeply personal and unforgettable.
My voice has been described as angelic, sincere, and distinctly Irish – qualities that touch hearts and bring peace. I am fluent in Catholic liturgy and hymns and often perform Gaelic songs and traditional Irish music, making my services especially meaningful for the Irish community across London and the Home Counties.
Based in Sidcup, I regularly perform across the UK and internationally, and I am always happy to learn music that is unique to you. Together, we can craft a musical programme that reflects your story, your heritage, and the emotions you wish to share.
I am also frequently requested to perform as the voice of Agnetha Fältskog, with recent highlights including a performance at Peterborough Cathedral, demonstrating my versatility and range.
If you would like your ceremony, service, or celebration to be elevated by music that resonates with warmth, authenticity, and Irish heart, it would be my privilege to sing for you.
With warm regards,
Ingrid Magee

Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance was probably the biggest gig I have done. However I have performed all over the world to huge audiences in different roles. Last year I performed at Matala Beach Festival in Crete in front of 20'000 people.
My favourite song is Oh Holy Night. I used to sing this at Christmas in Whitefriar Street Church, Dublin when I was in the children's choir and I still feel it is one of the most beautiful songs I know. I have many favourite artists. I couldn't choose one.
I have been told that I have always sang since I was a toddler, but I began my singing career in Dublin when I was about 7. I took part in a local show and the next year won first prize in an all Dublin talent competition. After this my parents sent me to performing arts classes and from there I have gone on to sing all over the world.
I love to sing wherever I am, but Irish songs are very close to my heart.
I have been trained to be able to sing most genres. I love singing Irish folk music and spiritual music which has a positive message.

I love when clients request specific songs. It makes the performance all that more special. If I don't already know the song, I am happy to learn it for you if I have enough time before the event. If you are unsure about what songs you would like, please don't hesitate to ask. I can always recommend some beautiful songs for you.
Most clients say that my singing helped them get through the emotions of the Mass.
