Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"We hired Danny as part of a line up of local musicians to play at our festival wedding. His guitar playing is a pleasure to watch. His style is natural and relaxed with the odd blues flourish thrown in for good measure. His voice is powerful and soulful - everyone in the tent was captivated by his performance. He's also a very friendly lad and seemed genuinely happy to play to our guests! A number of our guests had asked whether he had CDs available to buy. (Danny - please get some more CDs pressed. The oldies don't do streaming media!) A very memorable act."

"I couldn’t recommend Kirsty enough for an event or wedding. She was amazing from start to finish, had great communication and totally got the kind of vibe we wanted for our wedding. She arrived on the day and set up super smoothly. She knew exactly what to play and when and from the first dance the dance floor was a hit. She was great fun behind the DJ booth as well. Music was such an important part of the day for me and Kirsty absolutely delivered and more! I was 5 months pregnant at my wedding and I think I danced more than anyone else – the music was that good."

"David was a wonderful professional at our wedding. His piping was superb and his attention to detail was second to none. The unexpected addition of Caroline's entrance music as an intro to his 'piping us out' was a lovely surprise. A very talented, personable piper who took the time and effort to make our day, and that of our guests, one to remember."

"Unfortunately being the bride I missed part of Jonny's performance however my groom and guests have assured me he played beautifully. Jonny played for our guests before the ceremony, during the ceremony and our drinks reception. He played everything he said he would and it sounded absolutely wonderful. I had concerns about which pieces of music (especially played with an accordion) would be suitable for the ceremony itself and Jonny sent me sound clips of his suggested pieces. He did not disappoint, in fact I was so relived to have booked him, he settled my nerves from the moment we spoke as I'd had nightmares of iPods and sound systems letting me down. Jonny gave us the best of both worlds, a classical sound for the ceremony and more upbeat accordion music for the drinks reception. Again, our guests absolutely loved it, they were rather disappointed we hadn't booked him for the whole day. Booking and arrangements were hassle free and very straightforward and Jonny's requirements were easily accommodated, a chair and power socket. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering booking an accordionist, worth every penny."

"Anthony played beautifully for our wedding! We requested some difficult repertoire which Anthony played flawlessly and with such expression. He even prepared a new piece for our signing music. Anthony was happy to consult with us to make sure we were completely happy with our music selections. We ended up with a mixture of his suggestions and our requests which worked perfectly on the day! "We contacted Irena and she answered very quickly and politely . She asked us what sort of songs we wanted and we asked for 70's 80's 90's 00's the hits and left it to her . We booked her and she arrived early , set up and started on time . The list of songs she performed was exactly what we wanted , PERFECT !!! She has an amazing voice and entertained our guests . We will 100% use her again"
