"So pleased that Des agreed to provide the entertainment for our garden party ! I had seen him playing before but my friends ,who did not know about the surprise, hadn’t but I knew they would enjoy his unique playing style and his affable personality! Des liaised with me about the type of songs he should play for the people attending which made me feel confident in the choices made . It was great when he arrived as everybody was so surprised and he was so friendly and sociable chatting with the guests whilst setting up to play . Des’s style and twist on familiar songs both old and modern engaged everyone ! They went from singing along to getting up and dancing . He even played a special request of Lady in Red for my friend which meant a lot to her. Des is such a kind, genuine and very talented guy and my friends were really impressed! Here’s to next time ! Thanks Des you’re a star!!! Marion x"

"We were so lucky to have the wonderful Richard Toomer as our violinist for our elopement wedding on July 30th 2019. From our very first correspondence with Richard, he was so warm, professional and enthusiastic. We had a good idea of what we were after, and Richard listened and was so accommodating, even learning two new pieces for us for our day. He also had a vast repertoire for us to choose the bulk of our music from. He played the pieces so beautifully, with his rendition of Steve Earle's Galway Girl bringing me to tears - it was just so perfect! Underlining his versatility, he played a more upbeat version of the same song later on for us all to boogie along to, and it was just fantastic. He learnt Bowie’s Magic Dance for us to exit to and he completely picked up on our enthusiasm for this song and everyone, including the registrars, boogied their way down the aisle. It was wonderful! Richard, thank you for being part of our day and making it so special, you were fantastic! "

"Would just like to say I can not rate Martin highly enough. He was absolutely fantastic. Set up whilst we were getting married and played our exit song as me and Steve walked out of the ceremony. This was a planned surprise for Steve. Martin played all the songs I requested and more. Our meal was running late and Martin continued to play over his booked time. Everyone commented on how good he was. Lovely man very friendly and great saxophonist Thankyou Martin "

"Vera Voce was absolutely fantastic and performed an outstanding set that brought my friends and family to their feet applauding her wonderful soprano expertise. She specially researched and prepared two songs that she had never performed before but were on my wish list and this was amazing. I will definitely recommend her to anyone else. "

"We throughly enjoyed Vanessa performance at my parents 60th wedding anniversary. She performed a mix of swing,and more modern type songs as requested. We were very happy with how the whole evening went,She catered for all ages Some thing for every one."

"Jimmy was great. He had a flexible and no fuss approach and just got on with his set up as soon as he got here. He listened to our wishes around timings as well. His choice of songs and combination of singing and guitar fit in really well with a large outdoor family birthday party. "Emily was brilliant from start to finish. She helped with the music selection (not being too sure what would be best) alongside agreeing to play a particular piece that we wanted, and it was just perfect for the occasion. Emily was a pleasure to speak with and even more of a pleasure to listen to! Simply beautiful. Thoroughly recommended - and put it this way, everyone was asking for her card so that says it all! I hope to work with her again on a more celebratory event."
