"Prophets of Swing were absolutely wonderful. They delivered exactly what we were hoping for and provided a lively and upbeat atmosphere at our wedding breakfast. Such talented, accomplished musicians. My husband and I were extremely impressed and absolutely delighted with them. All of our guests were singing their praises. I found Sarah-Jane Morris, and her assistants, very helpful, attentive and thorough with the booking process. I would be more than happy to use Last Minute Musicians again, and have already recommended the website a number of times! Thanks to all. Elizabeth and Liam"

"I am writing to thank you for organising your group to come over to Normandy as a major part of the 70th Anniversary of D-Day. Brittany Ferries gave us a great send-off and we had an amazing day in Normandy on 6th June. We had high expectations of the band. I can tell you that all our group travelling from England, all the French and especially all the Veterans were absolutely blown away by their performance. They looked great and put on a really professional show. If this was not enough, the vocal harmonies were the best I think I have heard. I should also say that throughout this, the girls were wonderful people to deal with and nothing was too much trouble for them. We will absolutely definitely book this band again at the earliest possible opportunity. They were quite simply FANTASTIC! Can’t wait to hear and see them again."

"I recently booked Ruby to sing at a 100th birthday celebration for one of our residents at the care home where I work. I wanted to organise the most perfect party for Ida and her family and even managed to secure the Lord Mayor of Sutton Coldfield to attend the celebration. From our first conversation, I knew Ruby was just perfect to perform for us all. Ruby arrived and set up at the agreed time looking fabulous, and sang us through the ages. One memorable moment was whilst singing The White Cliffs of Dover Ruby sang right next to Ida and they interacted beautifully with Ida fully engaged and singing along. The feedback I received from our residents, their relatives and staff in attendance at the celebration was absolutely brilliant and many have asked when Ruby will be back to sing for us all again. I have booked Ruby for our next event and look forward to working with her on many more occasions. I can not recommend this lovely lady enough."

"I love to hear Isobel sing and would not miss an opportunity to do so. I have heard her intimate dinner sets with solo guitar, party sets with electric quartets and jam with all comers. She has a beautiful, affecting voice on ballads and always works with the ensemble. She holds a room and clearly loves her work."

"The Vintage Rollers were absolutely incredible for our office Christmas Party. Dani & Alex were so helpful beforehand with my many (many!) questions about set up requirements, and all of the guys on the night were absolutely lovely. Their performance was a real highlight of the night and we had so much great feedback afterwards - would definitely recommend and will book again if we put on any similarly themed events in the future."

"My dad's last wishes were for his wake to be a happy party with a Dixieland Jazz Band. He certainly got his wish. The Ace Jazz Band played exactly what my dad would have loved, and people were dancing and remembering fondly how dad used to dance to such music. Alan, the leader, was easy to deal with, well organised and sociable. Thank you for making the eake more like a wedding!"

"Really enjoyed the Grand Central Trio Jazz Band. They entertained our guests at the opening of our business. Very classy and up market. They were able to play to our audience who were a mixed audience. Great vocals and clearly very talented. Would highly recommend them"

"Luke sang at our wedding last weekend and I just wanted to say thank you for the amazing job. His vocals were fantastic and he was more than happy to learn and sing our first dance song. He and his band Le Beat were spot on and we highly recommend them to anyone looking to hire a singer or band. Thanks again Luke, top job!"

"The Belles were superb! Our wedding was vintage themed and the girls dressed up just as you'd expect authentic 1940's singers to. They worked very hard in setting up without interfering in any with the wedding. They sang beautifully and all our guests commented on how good they were! These ladies did not disappoint! Please pass on mine and Jim's sincere thanks to the girls for driving up to the Ribble Valley and being the icing on our cake!"

"Wow, this band are amazing. As an Event Manager I see a lot of bands and singers, and Almost Modern Jukebox definitely rank among the best I have seen. From their professionalism to the performance itself, they are a cut above the rest. I will definitely be suggesting them to all my clients."
