"We booked Vikki for our Harry Potter themed wedding and she was superb. The song list she holds is extensive (classical and modern) and even learnt some pieces that we requested to tie in with the Harry Potter theme. Before the wedding Vikki was incredibly professional, prompt, polite and efficient with communication. On the big day, Vikki arrived on time and played beautifully. Many guests enjoyed listening to her and commented on how impressed they were with her musical ability. Vikki - you truly made our wedding magical with your music - we would recommend you to anyone. "We hired Rob and his band Chasing Deer for our wedding, and they were amazing! The dance floor was never empty and they were incredibly professional throughout our conversations before and for the set up on the day. All of the guests loved the music and commented on how good they were, it really made the evening of our wedding. We would highly recommend."

"We hired Laura to play the piano at a farewell event for our recently deceased grandmother who absolutely loved afternoon tea and musicals. Laura was an absolute delight from start to finish. She was Extremely professional, punctual, and played the piano beautifully and i cannot recommend her enough. Thanks again Laura "

"5-Star Google Review: We first saw Nigel at a wedding fair at Plum Park and we were both impressed by the seemingly effortless way he played from memory and he seemed like a very friendly guy. Once we had booked our date we discussed having Nigel play and decided the money would be better spent elsewhere so we reluctantly decided to just use a playlist, but I knew how much Kevin had liked the idea of live music so I contacted Nigel in secret to book him for our ceremony and wedding breakfast as a gift. Nigel was super responsive and really up for keeping the surprise a secret as long as possible. I chose the music from Nigel’s huge repertoire based on what we’d planned from a Spotify playlist and as we wanted our exit tune to be Happy Together by the Turtles, Nigel learnt this specifically for us. Nigel was fantastic on the day, texting me to let me know he was there and had set up without being spotted. Some of our guests were tasked with keeping Kevin away from the ceremony room and we managed to keep the surprise right up until his registrar interview. We had set up a camera near the piano to video the speeches. Without any prompting Nigel kindly turned this to each person speaking so we got each speech perfectly in shot too, a small extra thing which meant the world to us. Many of our guests commented on how brilliant he was and his playing set a wonderful tone for our day. I’m so glad I decided to book him and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him to anyone. "James is one of the best pianists you can book for your event. Polite, punctual and professional, with a great repertoire of both modern and standard songs which he can tailor to suit your event. His style suits receptions, dinners and aftershow performance. Personable and always great to deal with prior to the event, he is a valued addition to any entertainment programme."

"Nigel played at our wedding on the 9th December 2023 and I can honestly say when I look back out our day the music was one of the biggest highlights for me. From our very first contact right up until the big day Nigel’s communication was amazing, always prompt to reply and nothing was too much bother. Six weeks before our wedding we actually changed our wedding venue and I called Nigel in such a panic as I was stressed but he was so great at calming me down and reassuring me that everything would be okay, and he was right, it was just perfect. Everybody that came to the wedding complimented the music and I myself started crying the moment my song started playing as I was about to walk down the aisle, it sounded perfect. There was a specific part of the song that I wanted to enter to and Nigel managed to time it perfectly without compromising on the quality of the playing. In addition, I was sad that I didn’t get to hear any of the music played before my arrival but I didn’t need to fear, Nigel was kind enough to send me a beautifully put together set list of the music that was performed, this is something that I will treasure. Nigel also recorded many of the songs on his GoPro and promptly sent these recordings to me. To watch my guests arriving, seeing my husband nervous before I arrive and watching myself walk down the aisle was truly magical and I will look back on this videos for years to come. So to summarise, I would highly recommend booking Nigel for your wedding, you will not regret it. "

"Sarah recently played at our son's Christening Reception. We requested a mix of upbeat contemporary music which provided the perfect atmosphere and relaxing background to the event. She is a very talented pianist and delivered her own versions of popular music in her own unique style. Sarah is very reliable, friendly and helpful and we would highly recommend booking her for your event."

"Nigel played for our ceremony, drinks reception and all the way through our wedding breakfast! He did an outstanding job and the guests all loved his music. I cannot thank Nigel enough. He communicated with the venue directly to take away the stress of organising a wedding and played beautifully throughout. He created a great atmosphere and the little flower girls enjoyed dancing alongside his piano"

"John arrived early to set up. He was friendly and accommodating regarding song choice as we had a variety of ages at the party. He had people up dancing with the music he chose. The volume wasn't too loud so people could still chat and not have to shout. Everyone had a great night and I would highly recommend Valencks Solo Band for a good entertainment."
