Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"This was a tough one because we only took over Los Balcones this year. We hadn't had any live music on up to this point. Someone told us Jon Stevens was playing at one of the bars in El Salvador, Mazzaron. We both headed over and the place was packed. We managed to catch about 5 songs as he was finishing up. Everyone was loving it, and didn't want him to finish. We ended up pulling him to one side and asked him to play Los Balcones the following Sunday. The guy even came down in the week to check out where he'd be playing and talk us through what we wanted. Unbelievable! The Sunday was an afternoon gig 4-6pm. Normally people would be leaving at this time but every single person stayed to watch Jon till the end. Jon played on the outdoor terrace in about 38 degrees under a parasol. What a fab afternoon. Everyone loved it and even out German friend got up on the Bongos when he played sweet home Alabama for someone's birthday . He is the first person we have had on here since taking over and he's really set the bar high now. I think we will struggle to find anyone as good, so will be very picky in the future. Can't wait to have him back soon, and he's becoming very popular now in the Murcian region of Spain. P.S... our takings were up massively as we were ramned to full capacity, so we fed his family and him for free to say thank you, Not that there was much food left haha. "Jayney J. Exceptional talent. Daniel played as I walked down. The aisle, throughout the ceremony (when signing certificates etc) and as we walked back up the aisle. The sound of a live violin at a wedding is somehow so magical and personal. Daniel listened to our requests before the big day and gave his very experienced knowledge of when and what order to play etc. Daniel also really looks the part in his Tux."

"I would just like to say a massive thank you for organising Chris to play at our party last Saturday evening - he was wonderful! I have never heard a pianist play such beautiful music, he really was fantastic. A lot of our guests also commented on how good Chris was - always a good sign! The music he played for us was just perfect and he was extremely charming and mannerly. At the end of the evening, he presented me with a CD of his music from the night, so now we have a wonderful memory of all the songs that were played.
