"Glitterball were the band introduced to us by last minute musicians after describing our needs to Sarah-Jane. They were perfect for our wedding! Nothing was too much trouble and James was super helpful - learn a new song for our first dance? Done. Visit the venue in advance to familiarise yourselves? Done. Play more Kylie? Kylie medley prepared and sang perfectly by Molly - a really star performer! I think that they could not have done a better job. They really helped make our day. I cannot recommend this band enough, they will make your day extra special - the icing on the wedding cake!"

"We had Kate sing at our wedding ceremony in October 2023 and we couldn't recommend her enough. From start to finish, Kate was so easy to deal with and very accommodating. With her "nothing is a problem" approach we were able to tailor our ceremony music to include songs that were special to us which made the ceremony feel much more personal. Kate's voice is one of the best I've ever heard and I would have no hesitation in booking her again!"

In fact, one couple I know have already been in touch with you about their wedding next year, and another I know are hoping to ask you to perform at another party too. "Larry and the Hot Crossed Buns are quite literally my favourite band I've ever seen perform, and that's a statement! I've seen acts from probably every music genre and nothing hits like they do! Not only is the music fantastic but the performance and entertainment is top tier! You can't help but jig along to everything they play and their crowd engagement is awesome. Each member of the band are also really lovely to chat to if you manage to catch them after a gig! My only gripe is that they're not close enough to me to see them perform enough, although I did grab a band tee and often rep them on the school runs. Honestly though, if you're around and these guys are playing - go and see them, you can thank me later xo (even if you're not close by, they're genuinely worth travelling for). Lovely band and boys!"

"They definitely put the “Fun” in their name for sure. We hired the band for our party & they didn’t disappoint. They were brilliant from start to finish & very adaptable with their set. We went for the 6 peice band which just looked & sounded amazing & they were very interactive with our guests. Would absolutely love to hire them again in the future & all communication before hand was felt with very professionally . Massive thanks for making our night so great! "

"Straight Up were beyond brilliant as the evening entertainment for our wedding. The dance floor was full the entire time and we had so many comments about how brilliant they were - their manager was great at communicating in the run up to the event and they were willing to tweak the set list so it was perfect for our friends and family! Would thoroughly recommend. "

"Just a note to say thank you for playing at my mother’s 90th Birthday party last Saturday. She had a wonderful time and commented on how good the band was. I think that everyone enjoyed it, and also got to learn some new dances. Certainly I personally had never danced in sets of seven before. Well done!"

"If you're looking for a band that keeps your guests entertained and on the dance floor, I highly recommend Grupo Carnival. They played a mix of funk, soul and Latin-inspired tunes that had everyone dancing all night. Their incorporation of Brazilian music was a nice touch which added an extra layer of fun and was original. The band know how to create a fun and vibey atmosphere and they were a pleasure to work with. Overall, I would definitely recommend Grupo Carnival for anyone in search of a wedding band that can deliver great music and a fun night. They made our special day a memorable one. "
