"My wife and I recently traveled on a cruise ship from Singapore to several Asian countries, and thrilled the entire trip by the music provided by Adora and their band. As a former USAF jazz guitarist, and musician with several top-40 bands over the years, the musicianship of the band is first rate. Every musician in the band is EXCELLENT and deserve the highest praise. Thank you all for making our cruise one of the best ever! Dave & Princie Kay"

"Hi Ben, I wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the band for Saturday night. From the very first email, you've been fantastic to deal with. Answering all my questions and making sure every detail is correct. Then on the night, the band turned up early, set up promptly, were all dressed for the occasion and of course, played a brilliant couple of sets of music. I've had so many compliments on the band from those who came to the party. The best bit was how enthusiastic the band were to recreate the 'Back to the Future' theme, adding in the extra song 'Night Train' to really bring it to life. We had numerous dropouts due to coronavirus but it was still a great night! Thanks again, Natalie"

"Simon was amazing. We'd seen him play a local pub and own the evening so we booked him for our wedding. He played our first dance (Perfect by Ed Sheeran) before a whole load of upbeat songs to get people dancing before the DJ took over. Worked really well, Simon got the room going and everyone was up and about. Would definitely recommend (and he's a really nice guy too!!!)."

"We booked The Backbeats for my grandmas surprise 80th party last week, and they were absolutely incredible. The whole band are so talented, professional and friendly. Martyn was a pleasure to work alongside when arranging plans. The guests loved the performance, and some said it was the best party that they have been to! "For our Wedding, Ley played the classical guitar for us during the Wedding Breakfast, and it created a fantastic ambience for the meal. He also played at our Evening Reception, and it is wonderful to look back at some great pictures of a dance floor packed with our guests.  The clever thing about his music for a wedding is that it spans the generations so everyone joins in. I know that my father was thrilled to be granted a wish to have his special song played for me at my wedding.  Ley learned the song especially and kept it as a surprise for me on the day. Ley also learned ‘our song’ for the First Dance. He performed a fantastic version of the original, it was amazing as all he was given was a CD to listen to. It was such a great personal touch to make the day extra special."

"We can not thank Straight Up enough, if you are looking for a wedding band do not look any further! Not only was it a fantastic performance but they came and set up with no hassle, communication was easy and everyone commented on how amazing they were. They interacted with the crowd and made us feel special throughout the whole night, first dance song was incredible and we truly felt that they cared! Dying to see them again, blown away! "

"If I could rate the band more than a 10/10, I would. The Revival Band were fantastic; talented, fun and genuinely lovely people. They pulled out all the stops and definitely went the extra mile to make sure the evening was a great success and one to remember. Tom, thank you so much for keeping me grounded!
