"Before the wedding, George and Grace were in regular contact to see if we needed any help with anything and also to see how we wanted the sets played and if there were any in particular song requests. On the night the band were absolutely amazing - they got everyone up on the dance floor and the music was incredible. The playlist that the band came with was definitely right for a wedding. The band also played our first dance, which made the day even more special. A huge thank you to George, Grace and all of the band for listening to what we wanted and making the evening everything we wanted!"

"Right from booking with The Pharaoh's until the Wedding, the communication was great couldn’t have asked for more. They fitted with our venue perfectly and we were so happy with their performance on the wedding evening. They engaged with the guests and had everyone dancing. Also thanks soo much for learning Jack Savoretti, was the highlight of the evening.. I've never heard a cover of that song before and it sounded absolutely superb.. "Funk’N’Soul performed at a wedding celebration held at Maisemore Gloucestershire on 28 August. The two hour set and DJ kept everyone on the dance floor, which was exactly what was wanted!! Awesome night!"

"Hi Sam! We would just like to say the biggest thanks, the evening went so well, everyone was buzzing! What a night we all had on Saturday! The band made our night so special for us and Dale and the band made that possible. We knew you were fantastic but on the night you lit up the sky and everyone thought the Band was amazing. Your help and advice sorting the stage in the lead up to our wedding was exceptional, you were so helpful, accommodating and reassuring when we had a question or query. Please pass on our sincere thanks to Dale and all the band who are all so gifted / talented, and so much fun! They absolutely made our wedding day one night that we will never ever forget! The dance floor was never empty, Dee and Mel were incredible so much charisma and simply Amazing! Thanks for making it such a special night for us family and our friends – you blew us away ! "Oh my god , they are amazing. No one left the dance floor and we wanted more. No one wanted the party to end which exactly what we wanted for our special day. Jeremy the singer was insane and so legendary. I can’t recommend Straight Up enough. "

"David and the band were brilliant. The booking process was fine and communications beforehand were simple and effective with the minimum of fuss. The band turned up exactly as planned on the day and although we kept them waiting because we were running behind, they accepted it all in good humour and waited patiently to start. Our guests were full of praise for them and loved their originality and musicianship. I just wish that it hadn't been quite so warm in the venue that evening and a few more people had danced along."
