"Just amazing! Jamal was very well presented, and professional throughout the event. His ability to interact with the guests, and play the violin at the same time made the experience extremely personal. Until this day I had never been able to combine my love of 90’s RnB with my appreciation of classical music. But thanks to Jamal’s ability to play ‘anything’ I got the chance to appreciate this beautiful synergy. It definitely made a wonderful day more magical. "

From our very first conversation, she was warm, professional, and attentive to every detail, ensuring all our requests were handled in such a personal and reassuring way. We had a specific song in mind for the start of our ceremony, and Lyra Strings performed it beautifully. It created the most romantic and emotional atmosphere, and so many of our guests came up to tell us how much they loved it. Even days later, we were still receiving messages about how her music was one of the standout moments of the day. "Booking EM Strings was a dream fulfilled as I always wanted a live instrument band playing on my wedding. It was surreal walking in to my favourite song playing from my childhood favourite film that is a classic Bollywood love story. The guest thoroughly enjoyed listening to them during the canapés and it set the tone of the wedding day so perfectly! I would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of booking for their special day. The variety of songs that they play means there’s something for everyone to enjoy."

"Felicity played for our wedding, playing classical songs in the lead up to and during our ceremony / walk up the aisle. She was wonderful, and extremely talented. She then played more modern music beautifully for our drinks reception. The guests and us all loved it, and would absolutely recommend her for an event. Her music helped make the wedding. " We booked Claire after being let down by another supplier not responding to us 4 weeks before the wedding - she responded immediately, even offering to come back from her holiday a day early to play for us. She was absolutely incredible (the violin was my non-negotiable for the wedding) and it was everything we pictured and more. I have some amazing memories and videos of my bridesmaids practicing walking down the aisle in their pj’s whilst she was playing for them and won’t forget the smile on my face when I saw her when I got to the end of the aisle. The guests were all commenting on how amazing it was and my sister in law now wants to book for her wedding!!! 10/10 would recommend to anyone, she went above and beyond for us at short notice. We couldn’t thank her enough - Mr & Mrs James xxx "

"We booked Becky for our big joint 60th party. Our family all love folk, blues and soul music and Becky was just wonderful - absolutely made our evening. Her voice is pure and subtle and beautiful. She used guitar and violin, using looping to create a really complete sound - very professional and skilled. Her interpretations of songs we know and love very much were wonderful. She is extraordinarily versatile and I really think everyone at the party felt there was a song that was special to them. Can't recommend Becky highly enough."
