"We decided to have Josie entertain our guests with her fiddle for our annual Burns Night celebration. Her attention to detail was impressive regarding the music selection, timings of the performance and interaction with our speaker, and despite the venue's restrictions, Josie played a brilliant set of Scottish folk music. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her and would indeed employ her again for another event if required."

"Tamilla played at our wedding and was fantastic. We mostly chose songs from her repertoire but we did also have a few requests for her to play modern songs that weren't listed including a very obscure song from the Final Fantasy XX game. Somehow she managed to find a backing track and played the song beautifully during our register signing. The only reason we haven't given 10 stars is because we had a couple of little hiccoughs earlier in the year regarding a mix up with contracts/deposits and slow communication the month before the wedding (although this was because of health issues with Tamilla's family so was just bad luck on our part timing-wise). Otherwise, we would certainly recommend Tamilla as she's an amazing violinist and comes at a fair price."

Hi Justine, thank you for recognizing the quality of my performance on your wedding day, I did try very hard to find and rehearse the music you requested. As you have mentioned, two members of my immediate family had joint replacement operations within a week of each other, and I was a bit slow in replying, for which I apologized, but I think I have more than made up for any hiccups in communication by staying longer than the agreed contract and playing for your drink reception voluntarily and without being asked. "What can I say? If you are a fan of Irish music, instrumental or with vocals then Dermot and the rest of the amazing musicians are who you need to hire! They were an absolute joy and a pleasure to have play at my beloved father's wake. They are such lovely and friendly people as well as fantastic musicians with a vast array of instrumentation between them. They graciously accepted requests prior to the event and also from some of the guests. My dad would have absolutely loved it and it made a very sad day very joyful and comforting for everyone. Our guests commented on how wonderful they were and the pub staff as well. I highly recommend hiring Dermot and the gang for any event, not just a wake. Communication was excellent before hand and hiring Dermot and the band were the easiest part of the many arrangements that we had to make when organising our dad's funeral and a wake. We sincerely thank you and highly recommend you, The O'Brien family."

"Liv was a great addition to our wedding drinks reception! She played so well and read the room to play tracks that worked for the atmosphere. Communicating with Liv on the lead up was a dream and she happily accepted some last minute changes which was great. Definitely recommend for any function."
