"This gentleman helped us give my auntie a beautiful send off today. Not only did he stand in the pooring rain whilst playing perfectly, he also took time out to meet and console my family. He could have waited indoors for the hearse to arrive but he chose to play to my Aunties neighbours whilst we waited. He was the last to leave my aunties home yet managed to be the 1st to arrive at the crematorium to play us in. I left the choice of music in his capable hands and im so glad i did, he had the professional ability to match the right tune to the present mood. I would strongly recommend Malcolm for any event. Unfortunately he is unavailable to play on the date of our wedding, i might just have to reschedule the date to ensure he can attend ?. Thank you Malcolm (true gentleman)"

"Terry arrived as a surprise on my birthday, wearing full regalia. We were in a packed restaurant and not only did he play for me personally, he also entertained the other diners. "If you are looking for an exceptional bagpipe player (and one that also looks the part) then look no further than James Meiklejohn. James is a true gentleman and was a pleasure to have at our Cotswolds wedding. From our very first conversation I knew we were in safe hands and James and his bagpipes made our big day all that more special. Nothing was too much trouble and everything James said he would do, he did, going above and beyond our expectations. The bagpipes were a surprise for our wedding party including my wife. As we walked out of the church ceremony, we were greeted by James who had positioned himself perfectly in the church grounds, playing Flower of Scotland. It was perfect! "Millie performed at a ceremonial event we hosted to reflect on the life of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and to mark the accession of His Majesty King Charles III. The event took place at Lloyd's of London to an audience of just under 5,000 people and livestreamed globally. She was an absolute joy to work with; coming up with the pieces to perform which were so fitting for the occasion. She totally understood the brief and her performance of both pieces were not only incredibly moving to everyone, but also the highlight of the event. I can't recommend her enough or thank her enough for being such a special part of our event. It's a day we shall never forget."

You were exceptional and we really appreciated the time you took in playing before the funeral as well as at the end. For me it made the day so special and I know Jim would have loved it.
