"Pipe Major Billy James Billy James played beautifully at my fathers funeral. Billy lead my dads funeral cars into the Crematorium down the hill to the waiting family and friend. "Simon was outstanding at my uncles funeral. He was also incredibly helpful in helping us choose music for the service and he was immaculately dressed in his Highland wear. The family are still talking about Simon even a month after the funeral. He is an excellent piper very professional and I would recommend 100 percent."

"I contacted ed arnold on thursday 25th july as I decided to hire a piper at the last minute to play at my grandsons wedding on the 26th july I realised that no family member had booked one and I being from Scotland and the groom and family members would be in full kilt dress including tartan trews so we had to have a piper ed rushed from one gig to ours and was there to pipe the groom and bride Michael and Kelly into there evening reception and stayed and piped a few more tunes I will certainly book ed again a very pleasant man. thanks ed Janet."

"We wanted a piper for our wedding blessing ( we got married in Gretna Green) and wanted a Scottish feel to it. We were given Billy’s number and from the moment I rang him through to the time he left the reception. He is such a nice man and very helpful. We explained that we would like the Lincolnshire Poacher song when we walked down the aisle. He played that and also the guests arriving at church, us going down the aisle and back down, when photos were being taken and at the reception. The guests were all very impressed as were we. We would recommend him for any occasion you want a piper for. He is fantastic."
