"Hi I had Lisa play for us at our wedding in December '13. She is an amazingly talented musician and very easy to work with when organising the music for the church and reception. We had some ideas of our own and Lisa was able to play the songs we requested as well as recommending a few more that beautiful on the day. She incorporated the harp and banjo into our requested songs and she has a voice that has to be heard to be believed! Lisa's music helped to create a very special atmosphere and made our day even more memorable! I could not recommend more highly!"

"Absolutely wonderful! From first contact I was confident Ben would be as good as the reviews I’d read - but I’d no idea just how good. He completely read the audience and balanced his music from a chilled first set, while relatives and friends were catching up and socialising, through to getting us up in the dance floor and singing along to great party classics. He’s an incredible performer and everyone was asking where we found him! It was here- and now you’ve found him too, you don’t need to look any further! "

"Nova on Piano is an absolute joy to have around - as well as being a wonderful singer and pianist, she has a friendly, bubbly personality & knew exactly what we needed at our recent JamFest music festival when we asked her to sing & play inbetween set changes - she was the perfect choice. We can't wait to have her back! Highly recommend 👌"

"When we enquired if Andrew would be available for my Father's funeral, i was extremly impressed by the personal empathy he has shown in making sure the music was as we would like. I cannot explain the emotions experienced in having Andrew pipe my Father's Hurst arriving to the crematorium , my Father would have loved every second. The sound was pitch perfect, a credit to a true musician, every note resonated true feelings, for which I cannot thank Andrew enough. You only have one chance to say goodbye, and I wouldn't want anyone other than Andrew as my piper to portray those emotions. "

"My family traveled from the U.S. to Inverness recently, among a few other stops, hoping to visit some ancestral sites specific to our family lines. I was having trouble finding a tour guide, and the idea hit me to see if I could find a local Piper...thought even better if they were a Fraser like me....literally contacted Spud at the last minute, and he was happy to oblige. Far exceeded our expectations!!! I told him to feel free to come casually dressed on such short notice....his Highland attire was incredible! And his musicianship was outstanding...in America we would say this guy has some "serious chops"! Graced us with several wonderful tunes, and was as charming and witty as all of the other reviews mentioned. He is first class all the way!!! He turned an occasion into an event. He made our experience feel epic. You instantly feel like a friend to Spud when you meet him. And he was full of hilarious stories and quips. If you're a "yankee" and need a Piper in America or the other side of the pond....do yourself a favor and contact Spud....you will not be disappointed, and he will add so much class and fun to whatever you have going on!!!! Cannot say enough good things about this guy...a consummate professional and such a winsome and personable fellow. "

"Hi G, Just a note from Thomas and me to say thank you SO SO much for helping Thomas to achieve a DISTINCTION in his grade 7. His teacher said 'he might pass'!! but it was TOTALLY down to your fantastic rehearsal sessions (other parents please note this wonder man gave us at least double the time for which we had paid and agreed) You quickly had Thomas smiling and rekindled his spark for music which he had lost - without you he said he would have not done the exam. Gareth spent so long helping with scales and aural tests and taught my son to ENJOY sight reading as well as bringing the pieces to life with his amazing accompaniment skills. We were astounded by the speed with which you established a rapport with our son and helped him with so many aspects of performing - real life skills which made all the difference. We have never heard Thomas practising and playing with such confidence and we were all in stitches with the humour our quips and mnemonics you gave in the pointers. I am an ex teacher and recognise in Gareth Giles that rare gift of a superb, kind teacher coupled with outstanding musicianship and the ability to get the best out of a student AND more importantly allow them access to music in the future. GARETH GILES is a truly outstanding teacher and musician and we cannot thank you enough for your kindness, encouragement and love of music PARENTS - or anyone - book this amazing man if you can for he is utterly brilliant, caring and a consummate musician. From Thomas's family (and Thomas who is on a school trip but jumping up and down with joy at his result and asking 'when can Gareth come and accompany me again') SIMPLY SUPERB in EVERY WAY"
