"We recently hired Alan for our daughter's wedding. Alan was extremely accommodating, emailing us beforehand to ensure that he had our requirements exactly correct and asking us for any particular requests. He learned a piece of music - 'The Portuguese Love Theme' especially for the occasion (as requested by the bride). On the day the music was excellent and received many compliments by the guests. Alan was punctual and highly professional. Thank you for helping to make the day special."

"I would highly recommend Simon and would use him for future events. Simon was so friendly yet perfectly professional and helped make our day run with ease. We had a really loose plan and he was completely adaptable to our ideas and played flawlessly throughout the ceremony and drinks reception. He was even kind enough to help our choirs pianist before he was contracted to start. I would highly recommend Simon and would use him for future events."

"I really wanted to thank you so much, your playing was amazing and I honestly found myself just sat getting lost in the music throughout the day. It was perfect for setting the different moods needed throughout the day. I will be honest with you we spent a long time deciding whether or not live music was required and I can definitely say it was and it was one of my favourite parts of the day ( other then getting married I suppose 😁). Thank you again it was perfect. "

"Alan played at our wedding in September this year and was absolutely incredible. We had many guests complimenting the tunes he played, there was such a great selection and variety that were all perfect for our big day. Alan was also vary flexible with any changes we made to timings and songs for the day and we found him very attentive and fast to reply when communicating, which is very reassuring when planning such a large and important event. We highly recommend booking Alan for your event if you are looking for a highly professional and highly skilled guitarist with a huge range of songs to play. "What a fantastic guy and performer. Played for us for the evening session of our wedding at Clovelly, he learnt our first dance song specially for us which was brilliant, gave a fabulous performance (even letting the bride jam with him on some vocals), was professional, turned up on time, set up with no fuss and had us all dancing the night away. He was brilliant at staying in contact prior to the wedding so we had no worries at all prior to the event. We had an amazing day and Grove Cat was a really special part of that. There were professional musicians who were guests at the wedding and they and the rest of our guests all said how fabulous he was. Spoil yourself people and book Groove Cat - he will rock out your event. Total recommendation! "

"Last minute musicians were so efficient and the booking process was very easy. Becky Shell was unbelievable! We hired her for my father's 70th birthday garden party and everyone who came is still talking about how wonderful she was. She has the most beautiful voice and she has such a lovely touch on the guitar and violin too. She was also in constant communication, ensuring we got what we wanted and she was really lovely in person. I can't recommend her highly enough!"

She is worth every penny of her fee. She plays with such emotion that she even got me all emotional at one point.
