"Just wanted to say how happy I was with MIB’s performance at Newham Under the Stars! The weather wasn’t exactly on our side and this showed in slightly lower audience figures than I would have liked, but those determined concert go-ers who came out despite the showers, chilly winds and muddy part thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I’m sure you could tell from the audience response just how much your performance was appreciated and I hope you enjoyed performing as much as the audience enjoyed watching you. Great music, great vocals and great energy! Considering that this is a free community event, the production was impressively slick and professional and this was in no small part due to MIB’s appearance. Watching video clips back you could quite easily be watching a televised event on the Beeb and I am so proud of it and so pleased that MIB was part of it."

"Excellent Performance !! Jo has a lovely soulful voice and Adam's piano skills were fantastic. Adam and Jo were the perfect duo for our company dinner party event. They arrived on time, their set up was quick and straight forward and most importantly, the performance was great. I would highly recommend them both. Thank you!"

"Saw Whisky & Ginger at our local golf club last weekend and they were amazing! The voice! The songs! They had us oldies up dancing long after we'd normally be heading for bed! Would thoroughly recommend anybody to book and can't wait to have you back at the club!"

Over 100 guests were entertained and danced the afternoon away thanks to Jo’s boundless energy, pitch perfect voice and range of songs...everything from show tunes & jazz to disco & party! "Thanks for everything on the night mate, you and the band absolutely smashed it! Everybody had an amazing time and there were a few sore throats/hangovers in the morning. It was a bit of shame it had to end so early, as I think everybody was quite up for kicking on quite late, but it was an amazing day for the both of us topped of with an amazing party in the evening. Thanks again for everything, and I will not hesitate to recommend you to anybody wanting a quality band at any functions, I’ll hopefully see you all again at one in the future!"

"We booked Funk it Up! for our wedding this summer & can not tell you how blown away we were by them. They were ALL absolute stars & Funk it Up! was easily the best part of our day - they brought 100% party vibes! They were an incredibly tight band; every member was an excellent musician & having been a bit of a fusspot about music building up to the day, I could not have been more chuffed. The dance floor was always packed out & the setlist did not let up! I lost count of the number of people who said to us afterwards how brilliant Funk it Up! had been, with the singer Ginger getting top marks from everybody for her showmanship and 10/10 bringing of the party throughout the set! If you want a proper old-school 70s/80s funk and soul band for your wedding or function, without the modern cliched Bruno Mars / Uptown Funk type stuff, then Funk it Up! is the band for you! Ginger was super helpful and communicative in the lead-up - she was able to add a trumpet player to the band's lineup to fill out the sound for us on the night & even kindly offered us the use of the band's PA for an hour at the end of the night after they'd finished playing. Do yourself a favour and book Funk it Up! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and you will NOT regret it."
