"The communication and detail of the event was very good prior to the event and our expectations were fully met. We employed Rory to provide good quality music as a backdrop to entertaining property professionals. He worked hard and gave value for money. Rory was very polite and understanding to our needs on the night. We were very satisfied. Thank you!"

"Professional musicians, great middle of the road Jazz based sound. I booked them to play at Bishopstoke Retirement Village - 60+ residents loved them - they want them back -booked for next month. Not just the music, you also get entertaining chat and stories. I started  Music in the City festival in Southampton 16 years ago - they are so good, I trusted them to take it over!"

"Motown Memories were absolutely incredible. They played a beautiful acoustic set in the gardens for our drinks reception, then two awesome sets for our evening do. They learnt our requested song for our first dance and played it exactly they way we wanted it, and they had everyone up and dancing all evening! They were also absolutely delightful the whole time, and even let me have a sing myself. We couldn’t have asked for a better band!"

"We could not have asked for anyone or anything better than Rose! Her vocals were incredible and her performances added a real sense of magic to our wedding. "What can I say these guys are simply GLORIOUS! Definitely not your average wedding band. We booked them after I saw them do Disneys King of the singers at Golden Acre Park (A personal guilty pleasure of mine) and asked them if they do weddings. Which thankfully they do! After starting with some more mellow swing outdoors as a duo, we had the pleasure of the full band in the evening. They played two full sets of upbeat swing as well as quirky covers of popular songs such as Moloko's Bring it back and Britney Spears Toxic, creating an electric atmosphere. What's more they gave it their all and you could tell they enjoyed themselves too. We couldn't have wished for more. Oly is a showman and got everyone dancing up a storm, but the whole band went above and beyond in our opinion to entertain and delight, they even co-ordinated the first dance and did our Dj set. They were very accommodating and flexible, and gave us all the reassurance we needed as our date came closer. This is important especially if like us you are arranging every detail by yourself (and therefore have no grounds for comparison). To have confidence in your suppliers is priceless. Big thank you to the The Dixie Rhythm Busters. You ROCKED our wedding!!!"

"The whole day was amazing. Jean produced many tears of joy when the ceremony began with the choice of music and the transition of the harp from the ceremony room to the reception room was so well done that nobody noticed! "Deciding to add ‘live’ walk up music for the awards presentation itself was a first for us, and the decision proved right. The ‘stings’ ranged from intense to amusing - our Managing Editor walked up to the Mission Impossible theme - and caused one of our guests to remark that it was ‘just like the Oscars’. On the sheer entertainment side of things, check out this band. They are awesome. "
