Review Centre: 90s, 00s & Modern Style Bands

"After deciding I really wanted a band as a gift to play for my 30th, I did some browsing. I was then recommended R45 by another band to perform for my 30th Birthday! I then got in touch with Michael, who was so accommodating and even juggled things around to be able to play for us. We then went to watch them a month before at The Deepings Caravan Park and there 2 x sets were absolutely brilliant. They had everyone on they're feet. We then spoke to Michael after they had finished and he couldn’t be more happy to help and guide us with our night. After a month of excitement and seeing everything come together, the group arrived and set up without a problem. They all wished me a happy birthday when I walked in and were smiley and bubbly. They fitted in, like they were part of the party. I also asked if we could move things slightly earlier then the original schedule and they were happy to do this for us! The Guys then got changed and looked amazing on stage and kicked off and had everyone on the dance floor! Michael, Jamie, Joe and Arty you are all so very talented and I feel very lucky to have you perform at my birthday. You were the absolute highlight of the night and gave me a birthday I certainly won’t forget! Not only are you all very talented your the most loveliest and enthusiastic guys! Everyone that attended, loved you guys and thought you were amazing! They pulled me up on stage and sang happy birthday to me and presented me with the most gorgeous gift and card - such a lovely and thoughtful thing to do!! Thankyou!! I honestly can’t thank you all enough, I can’t believe it’s already over and how quick the night went! I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on your gig dates and will come and see you perform!! I would highly recommend R45 to anyone looking for a talented, fun band to play for there occasion. They went above and beyond for us!! They certainly won’t disappoint and you’ll be on your feet in seconds! Thank you so much Michael, Jamie, Joe and Arty for everything!"

"We hired The Cheers for our own wedding this year and they were absolutely wonderful! So easy to deal with and on the night the music was brilliant, everyone was dancing from our 5 year old daughter through to the 'oldies'!!!! It was a great atmosphere, so much fun and really made our wedding day. The whole band were simply lovely - friendly and smiley and really accommodating to all our music requests. Highly recommend."

"We’re still in awe of how extraordinary it all felt. We had hoped for something unforgettable at our wedding, but Zenith created an atmosphere that felt almost surreal. The moment they began, the entire room shifted—guests looked at each other as if to say, ‘is this really happening?’ Even my cousin, who never sets foot on a dance floor, was up and moving to one of their reimagined classics. And my mum was in tears during the first dance—it was that moving. The way they guided the evening so smoothly made it feel effortless, though you could sense the artistry in every detail. "The Big Phat Rock 'n' Soul Band performed at our 25th Wedding Anniversary Party as a six piece band with trumpet and sax. The band was entirely professional yet relaxed and fun which we had said was the tone that we wanted to set for our event. From the minute that they started playing the music encouraged people onto the dance floor. Within minutes the dance floor was heaving, literally, and stayed jam packed until the last note. Everyone has said that The Big Phat Rock 'n' Soul Band was the best event band ever....... Do yourself a favour and book this band."

"Thank you so much Maria and the band for playing at my wife Beth’s 30th birthday in Leeds on Friday. Many of the guests have been asking after you since then and many were much later home on the night than they planned as they were too busy dancing! The choice of songs, the quality of the playing and vocal - it was all excellent, perfect for the party and made the night that much more special. You were also very friendly and helpful before and after the party and great to have around on the night.  Thank you!"

"My wife and I recently had The Cheers perform at our wedding where they smashed out banger after banger to ensure all the guests had sore feet and smiles on their faces at the end of the night. Ben’s communication from the very beginning was excellent ensuring our set list was personalised, they even learned our first dance which we greatly appreciated. Between sets they played our created playlist on Spotify which was super helpful. Their set up was swift and the brass accompaniment really took it to the next level. If you are looking a function band for a wedding or party look no further, The Cheers are the one for you! Thanks Conor & Rebecca"

"Stargazers are a fantastic band that caters totally to the audience - they are professional and ensure that you don’t have any stress in regards to the music/entertainment aspect of the night. I would book them again and again as I knew they would have the dance floor filled every time. The amount of compliments I received throughout the night in regard to them was phenomenal!"
