"What playing! Here was technical virtuosity and musical colour illustrating the diversity of mood which these unusual pictures inspired. This brought to a dramatic conclusion a superb recital that was rich in diversity, enabling us to glimpse the variety of interpretative skills which John possesses. "We booked Katie to play at our recent wedding celebration, as my partner (now wife!) is a keen amateur saxophonist & we wanted our celebration to be full of fun and fantastic music!! Katie was wonderful in the planning of the event, responding quickly to queries and being so helpful & flexible in creating a really unique experience. she brilliantly learned a new song for us and worked with us so my wife and friend who both play the sax could join her on a couple of the songs at the reception, much to the delight of our guests!! Given all of this, what makes Katie stand out from the crowd is her talent and the truly amazing way she plays the sax .... just divine!!! "Ellen was absolutely fantastic! We booked her to perform at the start of our joint 50th birthday celebration, and she was the perfect choice. From the outset, Ellen was incredibly professional and easy to work with. We had a call with her before the event and were immediately impressed by her organisation and enthusiasm, which made us feel completely confident we were in great hands. She provided a wonderfully varied song list, and we had so much fun choosing our favourites for her to include on the night. Ellen performed two 45-minute sets, singing and playing acoustic guitar beautifully. Her voice was stunning, and she created such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere that really set the tone for the evening. Ellen arrived in plenty of time to get everything set up, and I even got to enjoy a bit of her sound check before the guests arrived—it was such a treat and confirmed just how talented she is. During her sets, she received plenty of well-deserved applause from our friends and family, who all commented on how much they enjoyed her performance. We would absolutely recommend Ellen to anyone looking for a talented, professional, and genuinely lovely musician to make their event extra special."
