Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"Richard came to sing at my fathers 70th birthday celebrations on a narrowboat. He entertained us throughout the afternoon not only with his great repertoire but also his affable and personable nature entertaining every guest. My father was very happy and each guest praised Richard's appearance. What made the day more remarkable was the fact that I called Richard at 9am on Sunday morning and he agreed to sing even though the barge departed at 1pm, after the singer we had booked cancelled at 8.45am! Richard had appeared in London the previous night and had a late night. I will highly recommend Richard to anybody! "

So many of our guests told me last night (without any prompting) that they thought you were a fabulous band, and lots more have paid tribute to you today in their emails and messages. I think the fact that the dance floor was never empty is a testament to your excellent choice of music. You produced such a professional sound. A few of our guests are semi-professional musicians and they were extremely complimentary about your musicianship (and fellow musicians are not easily impressed, as you know!)You have also been so helpful and professional in dealing with all my queries, which I really appreciated. I do hope you enjoyed playing for us as much as we enjoyed dancing and listening to your music. Thank you!"

"Amazing performance, it really made the last part of the night one of the highlights of the whole wedding. We had a band before which was great too, but when m-SAX came on the crowd was so hyped about the performance and the energy went right through to the end at 1am. I've been at a lot of weddings that fizzle out, but when the lights came on we were all still happy to keep partying hard. Would 100% recommend and would be very happy to book again!"

"What can you get the man who has everything for his 60th birthday?... answer Christopher Kent! It was a spectacular evening! To quote my father "best birthday present ever!" Great, no-nonsense set up; just needs a power socket and a little space, excellent rapport with the crowd, everyone (myself included) felt at ease instantly, everyonewas up singing along and dancing by the end! He brought a warm energy that set the tone. Everyone could feel it. His voice and musicianship are truly top-notch.
