"I asked The River Jazz Quartet to play at my mother's funeral and wake: her will specified "New Orleans music to cheer the attenders" and The River Jazz Quartet filled the role perfectly. At the wake they changed to the sort of 1930's and 40's swing that Mother grew up with, and also played one of Jan's own compositions from the 1970's as a special treat. The matter was dealt with professionally, with the band giving good advice in advance and turning up in good time on the day. Highly recommended."

"We came to the Parkside restaurant for a meal and to hear some live music last week and we were blown away by the quality of music. Alice has a great voice and she sang a wide range of songs which we thoroughly enjoyed. Shane is a very talented guitarist. We would highly recommend them. "

"Had Tom at our wedding, what can I say about this Man, absolutely incredible from start to finish. His professionalism through out was amazing . His voice is absolutely unbelievable and was able to sing a huge variety of songs. My guests were simply blown away. He made our wedding so much better. I would absolutely highly recommend him, and he has an option of his band who were also amazing. My friends and family danced the whole night. On top of that such a humble nice guy went out of his way for us. Just an all round perfect experience. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. "You know how you read some reviews and you think it must have been one of the band or a member of the family? Beleive me this isn't one of them. Nicola and the boys were absolutely perfect. Everyone and I mean everyone had the best time. Such an intimate experience with a fabulous band. Our wedding was like an interactive later with Jools Holland gig. We couldn't be happier with the quality of music, atttitude and overall professionalism of Nicola and the boys. Would we have them again at another event? We wouldn't consider anyone else. There are so many "wedding bands" with standard generic chart music out there. If you want a charismatic performance with timeless music perfectly played don't waste your time looking anywhere else. We couldn't get our guests off of the bloody dance floor and there was also a much loved encore!! Nicola we can't thank you and the boys enough. You made our day spectacular. As I mentioned on the day, we had quite a few musicians amongst our guests who were all very impressed with you. Greg (the Owner) also thought you were fantastic. We had so many comments from people on the day saying how good you were and we thought you helped to create a great atmosphere, plus you were great to Lindy hop to! "You guys were absolutely AMAZING in every way; you were incredibly accommodating and helpful in the run up and then wowed everyone on the night! Every single guest I have spoken to since the wedding has commented on how amazing you all were, friendly, fun and super talented. Your surprise rendition of All You Need Is Love was the most magical moment and my favourite memory of the night. Thank you so very very much, I cannot recommend you or praise you all enough; you were all, quite simply, spectacular and the best band at a wedding I have ever heard!"
