"After a long search for a Jazz & Swing band for my partner's 50th, I contacted What's New. They were in contact with me immediately and we quickly and easily made the booking. Sam was great with communication and we were able to discuss repertoire etc. They were the perfect band for a birthday party and immensely talented at what they do. If you're looking for an effortlessly cool, contemporary jazz and swing band to entertain and perform beautiful arrangements, this is the band for you."

"Wow; what an amazing day yesterday was. From start to finish it truly was the perfect day. Even the weather stayed kind. . . Chris; our fabulous singer! Wow, where do we start? You were incredible! A surprise to most of our guests as we did manage to keep a few things quiet. Endless praise in the room for you; so many fabulous comments. "How thrilled we all were with The BV's. We hadn't met any of the band before, sourced them online, and were just overwhelmed with them. They had everyone up dancing, the songs were absolutely fantastic, and we’ll definitely have them back."

"The evening went off very well. Neil, Kevin and Tom were excellent and all at a party of 45 remarked on the both the style and quality of the music. The trio played the right music at the right tempo at the right volume. The fact that partygoers applauded after each rendition demonstrated that even though they were talking to friends some had not seen for long periods they were still appreciative of the music in the background."

"The River Jazz Quartet played at my father’s birthday celebration last weekend. They were exceptionally good and this was commented on by a large number of the guests. During the planning we discussed the type of music we would like and the playlist on the day was perfect. The band had even gone to the trouble of adding a few of my father’s favourite songs to their repertoire. We could not have enjoyed the music more and are very happy to recommend them. "

"I hired the BV's to play for me after hearing them play at a friend’s house party, and once again their performance was excellent. I asked for lively, bubbly and jazzy music and that was exactly what I got, though I am sure they could turn their hand to a whole range of music. Since the party I have had a great many positive comments and praise from guests saying how much they had enjoyed the music and the natural ease with which it was delivered. I would recommend them highly and definitely hire them again."

"Jess was incredible from beginning to end - she made the booking process so easy, was very responsive and made things straightforward; on the day itself she arrived promptly and was relaxed setting up, dressed stylishly; when it came to the performance she was absolutely excellent, exactly what I had hoped for and couldn't have asked for better. "The Debon Swing Dance Band was sensational. They were completely professional and looked the part with smart uniforms and stage displays. Their leader Max was fantastic at helping us plan the playlist. They adapted to the space in the venue perfectly and provided 2 sets of an hour each. Everyone at the party was thrilled to have a live band - with a full line up of instruments and 2 brilliant singers. The style of music got everyone on the dance floor - from the youngsters [age 4 upwards] to the oldies [from 80's downwards]. The live music made the party swing!"

"Soli Strings really made our wedding day extra special. They were great to deal with from the off, offering us an extensive list of songs to choose from, and even learning a new number for us to walk down the aisle to. Afterwards, so many of our guests commented on how much they loved the quartet and the ambience they brought to the occasion. We highly recommend Soli Strings!"
