Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"We first met Chris when he played for us at our pandemic wedding in June. We found an advertisement for Chris online and knew from the first phone call that we wanted him to be a part of our big day. Chris Tavener was professional, courteous and well organised. He was happy to comply with venue rules and regulations and nothing was too much trouble for him. As an events organiser, I have worked with many different suppliers and the good ones can be hard to find! Chris Tavener is a rare find because he is brilliant! His customer service was second to none. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him and would definitely use him again at future events. Chris was always super quick to respond and problem solve. If we had any issues in advance of the wedding and on the day itself he was quick to sort them and relieve us of that headache. He puts himself into your shoes and does his utmost to make the day as special as he can for you. Although we booked Chris last minute because we weren’t sure if the wedding would go ahead due to covid, we needn’t have worried. A tour request, Chris took on the role as toast master and coordinated everything perfectly on the day. He liaised with bar staff to announce our arrival and get things ready and he announced our speeches at the reception. When organising a wedding, you need the best people in your team to make the day (and the run up!!) as stress free as possible. When it comes to entertainment - Chris is that person.  We were delighted that he played for us. He read the audience well and played a great selection of songs to cater for all age groups. He created a fantastic atmosphere and even played a little longer into the night when he knew our guests didn’t want him to go home! We can’t thank Chris enough for how special he made our big day! "We first meet Danny when he was singing in a local pub, I said if ever I have a party then I want Danny to be the singer, not realising he was multitalented - compare and DJ for the whole night! We hired Danny for my 70th Birthday Party, he was very approachable, friendly and excellent singer, he has an brilliant voice and he adapted the music to the audience with a variety of music, the feedback from the guests was great He did an excellent job and I would defiantly recommend, very versatile, Thanks again Alan & Karen "

"We were all very, very pleased with the party (a large venue and a small number of people, but I think we managed to fill it with a lot of laughs and a lot of happiness for everyone who could attend) and your part, Kasia was integral to the whole thing. Thank you from everyone at here for your time and your commitment to making the party enjoyable for everyone. It's always a leap of faith when looking for performers for these types of things, but I think we made a fantastic connection and I feel lucky to have come across your profile at the right time."

"We booked Jamie for our wedding, for both a couple of live sets & his DJ service. He really did not disappoint & was amazing on the night.. His vocal performances are great & his voice so unique that he makes any song his own! He did every song we asked for off his repertoire & even chucked in a few more, which all went down a treat with our guests.. and again with the DJ service.. he played all the songs we asked for & created a unique vibe for the evening personalised just for us! If we were ever to have a party or another event I would look to hire Jamie again 100%, not only is he amazing at his job, but he is such a great, friendly guy.. who helped make our special day that bit more! :-)"

"Myself and my husband (eeek!) had Robbie to play at our ceremony and drinks reception and wow! He was amazing. On the run up to the day he was reassuring and flexible, and clearly very talented - picking up our songs really quickly. It made my aisle walk so special to hear him playing and he even had some of less emotional guests weeping! Thanks so much 😊"

"Great time spent with Paddy James! His style of music seduced the whole audience, performing well-known songs but also songs from his own repertoire, in English and in French, engaging us to move and sing-along together. A real presence on the stage. We will definitely make use of his talent and services again! "

My husband and I have never heard her play with such confidence and clear enjoyment and this was totally down to your warm, fun approach.
