Review Centre: Singers (Jazz)

"I first stumbled across Dave one afternoon while walking through Dean Village in Edinburgh. I heard music drifting from under the Dean Bridge and was instantly drawn to it. There he was, playing and singing with such warmth and soul that I stood in awe for quite some time. I took his card that day, never knowing how beautifully our paths would cross again. When my now-husband proposed and we began planning our wedding in Loch Lomond, we knew we wanted Dave to be part of it. He played during our champagne reception, joined by a saxophonist, and created the most magical atmosphere. His infectious smile and genuine warmth shone through his music, captivating not only us but all of our guests. Everyone loved him as much as we did! We’ll treasure those memories forever and know we’ll be inviting him again for future celebrations. Thank you, Dave, for sharing your incredible gift with us."

"Rachel made my dad's 80th birthday a very special day. All the guests thoroughly enjoyed listening to and joining in with Rachel as she sang: she has a beautiful voice! Rachel spent a great deal of time beforehand with myself planning appropriate songs for the occasion. It was very memorable and the feedback we have received from the guests is very positive. "Matthew was the star of our party! Guests are still talking about his performance even now, two months later, and many have asked for his contact details. He sang a mix of traditional jazz and more modern songs for a couple of hours, and although he was providing background music for a party of 50 people, many guests simply stopped to watch him perform. He is an exceptional performer, and able to engage with the audience so easily. I would highly rate Matthew as a singer for both small and large events; he fitted into the evening very well, coming with all his equipment and leaving discreetly at the end. He has an evident passion for singing that is infectious, and if I host another party I wouldn't hesitate to ask him back!"

Multiple sclerosis Society of East Kent, like many other charities doing a great job, need all the help they can get. "Best band in Nottingham hands down! Hired them for my mums wedding and they had everyone on the dance floor one moment and then had everyone moved to tears the next (in the best possible way) They played all night for us and we loved every minute, they truly made it a night to remember!"

"I booked Emily to sing at my 50th birthday bash recently - she was simply superb! I wouldn't hesitate to book her again and in fact a couple of my guests have already asked for her contact details. She turned up exactly when she said she would, set up without any fuss at all and then performed a really cracking couple of sets. My friends loved it! She even learnt a specific song that I knew my mates would all sing along to... which worked like a dream! She is so versatile too. We had some 'rat-pack' style songs whilst we were eating and much more up-beat choices whilst we partied! If you are looking for a great singer and performer who also happens to be a really lovely lady too then look no further!"

"Jack played at my mums 90th birthday he was brilliant he played whatever we asked for and more. He sent shivers down mine and my sisters spines when listening to him as you felt like Frank Sinatra was in the room. I would recommend him and if i organise another party would have him back in a heartbeat he was quality. My mum loved him and so did the rest of the party."

"I got in touch with Annelise to book her for a last-minute vintage themed gathering for the university literary society. She was a lovely warm presence and really made the event by singing a selection of jazz classics and pop songs in a swing style. I particularly enjoyed her rendition of Mr Brightside! Annelise brought her own equipment and all replies to emails were fast and detailed. She really set the perfect atmosphere so that everyone was up and dancing by the end of the night. It was an absolute pleasure to work with her and I hope I will do again!"
