"Alan was excellent, from my initial contact with him through to his performance on the day! He was reliable, responsive and played really well. We were particularly impressed that Alan learnt a new song for our wedding ceremony, it made our day!! So many people commented on how good he was, even when all the kids were running around him in the courtyard he kept his composure! Thanks again, Alan."

"Simon was fantastic! A great entertainer who read the room to play exactly the right music. Very entertaining and talented! It was also St Patrick’s weekend and so he included some Irish music as requested and had us all singing along. Very flexible and helpful too. We can’t recommend him highly enough!"

"Martin is absolutely superb, highly recommend him. He did three sets at our party and got the party atmosphere going straight away, there was dancing, singalongs and lots of applause. Martin made our party, so impressed, very professional and really friendly, so much he was invited to stay and join the party, which he did. Thank you Martin for making our party extra special. "I would like to say that I feel privileged to have had Melisma performing at our retirement party. Everything about Melisma Jazz band was wonderful, they all looked very smart and professional and their performance was absolutley fantastic. Many asked where I had found them and others just thought I knew Sarah-Jane personally as she was so friendly! I cannot thank Melisma Jazz enough for making our event such a wounderful success, we will have lovely memories of the afternoon which seemed to end too soon - I just wanted them to play on and on! Thank you all so very, very much."

"My Dad loves jazz, so when I saw Dave performing by chance I asked him if he'd be available for his 80th birthday do. My Dad was chuffed to bits - especially when they threw in a couple of his requests on the night too!"

"We had Sean for my fathers 70th birthday party! And he didn’t disappoint! He played all the songs I had requested from his repertoire plus many many requests from my dad! And he was very polite and obliged and played them. The set was the perfect time frame and the price extremely reasonable and resembled the quality of the performance and service. I would highly recommend Sean if you are looking for an acoustic musician for your next event. And I will be hiring him again when we have another party. Caroline "

"“Garden Party with Joe Playing – simply superb!” Joe played at my garden birthday party and was absolutely superb. Everyone loved listening to his music and he was also kind enough to learn some of our favourite tracks. He has a great voice and everyone commented on how good he was. He really helped to make the party a memorable one. As well as being a very talented musician he also happens to be a really nice guy. I will definitely be booking Joe again."
