Review Centre: Wedding Ceremony Musicians

"Rory and his colleagues played at my husband's 40th birthday party. This was held on a summer evening at home for around 60 people. Having live music totally transformed the night. Rory's band created a really unique atmosphere. The music was relaxed and subtle, which meant that the conversation could flow, but so enjoyable to listen to that you didn't want it to end. I would love to have the opportunity to hear them play again and I would not hesitate to engage them for another occasion."

"It's my first time booking live music and I have to say that they are great!!! Very fast in responding and very professional and kind and very present in every question I had during the booking! They also organised a Zoom call with the band, that was great to speak with them before to book! They did an amazing job at our wedding!!! We want to have another event soon so we can book them again! Thank you so much!"

"WOW….. Where to start? So, Andrew was very helpful when I enquired about having him play at my 21st Birthday garden party in July, we both set up a scheduled phone call so we both understood each other’s ideas and queries for the day. Andrew was more than happy to help out by bringing extra supplies which might be beneficial to me and him which I thought was a nice touch and very professional. Once we were all set Andrew was quick with his communication with back and forth emailing in which he sent me over a list of songs I could choose from months before the day so I had lots of time to choose and for him to practice. The song list was pages full of any type of genre and song, in which some songs ment he needed to bring his bigger Sax to use which he had no issues with. I was also able to request certain songs too which I thought was brilliant and allowed me to have some of my favourite songs played at the party which might not have been on the list. Both me and Andrew emailed back and forth multiple times up until the day of the event which was great as I knew if I had any questions I could just ask beforehand. Andrew arrived on the day with more than enough time ready to set up and prepare to start. WOW, I couldn’t believe the talent when he started playing, it was amazing to hear live music again after having so long without it due to lockdown. My friends and family had an amazing time and really enjoyed the different song selections there were and that there were songs for everyone. Andrew stayed for hours and was more than happy to carry on until near the end of the night which kept the party going. I also really appreciated this as he had a long travel home. Me, my friends and family danced the whole night away and enjoyed every minute of having Andrew play, he really did make my party so special after planning and preparing for the day for so long. I still look back through my videos and photos and I’m so grateful to of had him there playing. Andrew also brang microphones with him which once we had a few drinks we couldn’t get off them, we had such a blast. Andrew was very attentive throughout the night and let me choose songs to play next and checked with noise levels etc. Since my party I’ve had so many people note how amazingly talented he was as well and how kind and professional he was on the night with me and the guests. It really was the most amazing day/night and I couldn’t give Andrew any critiques! 10/10! Will be most definitely booking Andrew again in the near future! Ellie"

"We were recommended Kirsty via Freddie, the pub manager at the Prince Albert. He gave us a few DJs to look at so we could decide for our wedding - Kirsty's communication is excellent. We corresponded via email and then found a time to talk on the phone. My then fiancée and now wife both warmed to Kirsty instantly over the phone. She is personable, with a really good understanding of music, she understands London culture, as well as the music I grew up with (and music would have enjoyed at university), and has an appreciation for the international music we requested. Her 'do not play' list was a great feature for us too, so we could make sure there were no toe-curling moments in the night or artists who we just didn't want played. She got on very well with our guests and made everyone feel at home - she has obviously spent time honing her craft as well as understanding how people tick. "Mood Swings provided the entertainment for a birthday garden party, and were the stars of the day. Perfect for the occasion, and thoroughly enjoyed by all my guests - and my neighbours! Highly recommended; arrangements made easily, they arrived promptly and performed a great choice of music. "

"We had our hindu wedding ceremony on August 13th, 2021, I was looking for a modern take on traditional Indian instrumental music as I didn't want the typical shehnai recorded sound playing on repeat in the background. I found Sandeep and his team through an agency online. The agency was helpful and put me in contact with Sandeep when I had questions regarding the music. Once speaking to Sandeep, I found him to be really helpful, knowledgeable, and highly professional. I had a few questions about the music as I had a song I wanted for my bridal entrance that was not on their playlist. Sandeep kindly reassured me that the song I had wanted would not be a problem for them to learn and they would be able to play it on the day, at this point I think there was 2 weeks before our wedding. Our wedding morning was bit of a shambles due to unforeseen circumstances, so we were running very behind with the timings of the day, the band continued to play and helped create a relaxed and intimate atmosphere and kept our guests distracted. They even stayed a little longer than planned as they could see how stressed we were, we are very grateful for this as we got the traditional music in the background of our ceremony. I am, to this day, really happy that we booked with Sandeep. They played beautifully, and we are still receiving compliments for the music. We have had friends reach out and ask for the band details. I'm just sad that I didn't get to personally enjoy the music more on our big day (due to wedding chaos), but we did get to hear them play again last year at a friend's wedding were we sat back and took in the atmosphere they created with their amazing music. I highly recommend booking with Sandeep they bring a beautiful modern twist to classical Indian music, which can be enjoyed by everyone. "

"We cannot thank Anne-Marie & Jules enough for playing so beautifully at our wedding. All of our guests commented on how amazing they were and how they added a classy touch to the event. They have a very large portfolio of work and were happy to play a few requests arranged before the day. They kindly posed for photos and chatted with guests between performing. "Michael performed during our wedding ceremony and drinks reception on 27 May 2018. He did a fantastic job and many of our guests complimented his performance. Michael played all of our song choices and kindly learned a song for us which he played during the signing of the register. We'd highly recommend Michael, professional, friendly and very talented."
