"One Jump Ahead were the highlight of our family event! We had booked the 5 piece band and they were absolutely fantastic. They had people up and dancing in no time and adapted very well to the crowd with their huge repertoire. Communication beforehand was also great. Thanks again for the perfect afternoon!"

" I booked Jess for my husband's surprise 80th birthday party in Buckinghamshire. Throughout the whole process she kept in touch by phone and email and responded very quickly to any queries or requests that I had. On the day of the party there was a national rail strike, but she still arrived in good time for the party despite having had to take a much longer and more circuitous route to reach us from London. What a find she turned out to be! Not only is she strikingly beautiful, but she is very gracious and friendly and has the most amazing voice and an extensive and wide-ranging repertoire of songs. I booked her to perform three sets and I had wondered if that might have been too much, but I need not have worried ... no-one wanted her to leave and would have been happy if she had stayed on for another three! . She really was the icing on the surprise birthday cake and I wouldn't hesitate to book her again. My husband had a wonderful time and I have received so many messages from friends and family, saying how much they enjoyed the party and that they all thought Jess was amazing."

"Fresh Duo recently played at our wedding ceremony and drinks reception. They were absolutely amazing, our guests are still talking about them! Stephen and Milka were such a delight to deal with, so friendly and professional. They put us at ease throughout the entire process and played our selection of pieces beautifully. We had to change our plans multiple times due to lockdown restrictions and Stephen and Milka were incredibly understanding and accommodating throughout. The music played by Fresh Duo was absolutely fantastic, we loved it. It was an honour to have such talented musicians at our wedding! Thank you!"

"I fell in love with GG's voice the moment I listened to her online and she was immediately the top choice for our wedding. The band were brilliant on the day and we would highly recommend GG and The Soul Swingers for any event, wedding or otherwise. GG is so lovely to work with and we can't thank her and the band enough for being such a special part of our day. "

"We didn't get to enjoy The Tom Belbin Trio as much as we would have liked to as we were away being photographed but all of our guests unprompted told us how fantastic the music was! We managed to catch some of the end of the band who played for us during our wedding breakfast welcome drinks outside and they played beautifully, creating a lovely relaxed and fun atmosphere for our guests. They sounded great. We really appreciated you playing for us - like I say above numerous people told us you were great. Many thanks Moon-Moon"

"We were looking for a band with a repertoire of jump jive and swing music for our wedding reception and found One Jump Ahead. The band did such a great job, they had such great energy, and our guests loved dancing to their music. There was good variety of songs so that our non-swing dancing guests could show of their moves too! We loved the first dance and really appreciate the band learning the song for us, we hope they will continue to play it in their future gigs. We had very good communication with Kit in the run up to the wedding and the band were able to set up by themselves which made things run smoothly for us, and were very flexible and relaxed on the night. We'll be recommending you to our family and friends for future events!"

Thanks Sherri! It was a really great reception, made all the better by the lovely sunny weather we had. It was excellent that many of your guests were swing dancers - we always like to play for them! (It's still a pleasure playing for other dancers, too, of course - or even those who prefer just to listen!) We enjoyed learning your request and will be very likely include it in our sets at future wedding receptions. "Just to say a huge thank you so much!!! The music was absolutely spot on, so many bangers and H&R nailed the vibE, we had an absolute blast on the dance floor and everyone said how brilliant the music was. Huw also kindly stayed later (everyone was loving it and dancing) which we really, really appreciated. We weren't sure about a first dance and Huw read the room so well. Just 10/10 all round!"

"Lucy performed everything from our ceremony music to the evening and it was absolutely incredible and loved by all! Any request was never too much to do and her personal music we loved! "We had Daisy & AMJ play for our wedding in September and had so much fun! The whole experience was made just so easy, from booking to agreeing our first dance, Daisy was on top of everything. They went above and beyond to get our first dance request sorted, and played so beautifully. The evening was perfect, we had loads of people up dancing - young to old! Would definitely book again."
