Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"Gareth is a very talented and tecnically accomplished musician. He can play across all genres ; classical, jazz, lounge music, singalong, film and show music all to a very high standard. Besides his virtuosity it is what he brings to the occasion in his versatilty, adaptability and own personality that makes him special. He approaches everything with professionalism. From understanding the brief, programming, impressive playing to personal impact. He can be quiet and remain in the background through to being lively and create fun. He is not put off by requests and can adapt and write his own music. I first met Gareth when he was the given accompanianist for me as a singer and I was immediately struck by his sensitive and supportive playing. He then came to play a short concert I arranged for patients at a local hospice. He designed a lovely mixed programme but playing in such situations needs sensitivity to the mood and needs of the listeners, versality as well as virtuosity and the ability to interact with patients and staff. The overwhelming response was "When can Gareth come again". I have already booked a return date."

"I wanted to share some fantastic feedback about Taylor Sax, who recently performed at our event. She was absolutely brilliant! She mingled effortlessly with the crowd, creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere. Her collaboration with our DJ was seamless, playing the latest hits, Christmas anthems, and nostalgic songs that everyone loved. Not to mention, she looked incredible throughout the event. "Booking through last minute musicians was professional and easy! The Lost (band we booked) Adam was really good throughout the booking, responding to emails quickly, providing an extensive set list to pick songs we definitely wanted, ones we didn’t mind either way and ones we didn’t want. He also sent a test clip singing our first dance song to see if we wanted the track or the band - we definitely wanted the band! The band were so good and kept a full dance floor all night, throughout their sets and DJ’ing. They had a friendly and professional attitude. Thanks so much! Ellie & Tom"

"Mads is great! My guests were truly impressed. Mads created a wonderful atmosphere, playing beautiful music whilst walking about the garden..creating a lovely atmosphere for my guests. Mads brought her speaker system with her and was up and running in a matter of minutes. We aligned on the music beforehand - where I explained the vibe for the garden party and she made me recommendations. I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you!"

" From hearing her perform at an event I knew that Laura would be a perfect added extra to my 40th Birthday Celebrations. My parents and I booked Laura and she was professional and personal with regards to the style of music I wanted and even took requests before the event which really made it a special type of entertainment. Guests all commented on the way she performed really well and the right style of music while guests arrived and during the start of the meal which is what I wanted, I am already thinking of other events I could have her perform at. Thank you so much for adding a touch of live music to my event and providing the sound system too so I didn't have to think about any of the set up or the music during your short break."
