"We saw The Pure Tones and his trio perform at two friends weddings and had such a great time, we knew we wanted to book them for our special day. Now, since having them perform at our own wedding we have experienced the joy of both sides, great fun on the dance floor as well as the ease of working with them to prepare for our day. The trio were professional, dynamic to adapt to changes in the flow of the day, charismatic, and they looked sharp! We had a fabulous day! Thank you."

"Having reached the ripe old age of 65 this year, my partner organised a big Grumpy Old Gits Retirement Party for me in a marquee in our garden in Pangbourne. We had over 120 attend & most guests came dressed up as Old Gits (Victor Meldrew, Alf Garnet, Compo, Nora Batty etc.) and we needed a local band to get the place rocking, with a wide variety of covers from the 50's to the present day. Found Mike's band Back2Back (just up the road in Wantage) on this site and were not dissapointed. Fantastic set, got everyone up dancing, entertained us with humour between songs and even threw in a wireless solo guitar trip around the whole marquee. Very impressive PA sytem and lights, all remotely controlled by their own Sound Engineer and six musicians who know how to put on a very professional and tight sounding show. Everyone kept asking how we could afford such a good band. The nice thing is, they were so reasonable, we still had change out of our budget to spend the rest on a decent firework display at 10:30 in the evening, and after that, the band played on!! They were so good in fact, that as we organise the annual Pangbourne Village Fete each year, we have booked them as our main act for the second weekend in June 2019. I advise you try them out for your event before then (or come to the fete next year). Absolute rockers, thanks Mike and the rest of the band, see you in June, if not before at another event. "Motown Memories and Ione performed at our wedding in June 2022 and they were absolutely fantastic. Ione is a great singer and the band are superb musicians - there were great guitar solos. At the end of the evening and following the wedding, so many of our guests told us that they thought they were a great wedding band, and the dancefloor was full for the whole evening. They responded and reacted to the crowd expertly. The set list was a great selection of genres and decades, enjoyed by 3 generations. Rhona, the band manager, was great to deal with before the wedding - she asked us questions, she shared an example set list, and she arranged for the first dance to be played."

"We hired this band for a rehearsal dinner at an estate. They arrived early, were extremely professional, and set up well before the event started. The music selection was fantastic and they did it with very little guidance. They moderated the proper volume level throughout the phases of the evening which we also really appreciated. The proprietor of the estate even mentioned how good they were compared to others that visit. "
