Review Centre: Wedding Ceremony Musicians

"Words cannot describe how thrilling it was to walk into the reception, hear music, turn round and see you play. You created a truly magical atmosphere. When the band came on later, everyone got up to dance. And it was not a straightforward gig. The band went that extra mile - not only in the planning and preparation stages, scheduling an order of ceremonies that would cater for our precise needs and requirements - but also on the day itself. When my DJ vocalist fell through at the last minute, the band were only too happy to step in, playing my MP3 cues through their sound system and even learning our first dance wedding request on the spur of the moment! The band were also kind enough to play extra time, and I was really pleased with their adaptability and flexibility in response to the fluctuating nature of the event. They ensured that my wedding was a real party. The band itself was a joy to behold and everyone was delighted with your music. I sincerely hope that we can work with you again in future. Thank you!"

"Kate You fitted in wonderfully with my 80th birthday Scottish themed family party and had everyone dancing and singing away ! Whatever I suggested you came up with music to fit . You made my 80th Birthday party one for all the family to remember and it was tremendous joy to see all my grandchildren dancing around and singing along and enjoying themselves The music really added so much to the Scottish themed party ! "Just What I Wanted! I recently booked Ian Britt for a private garden party. From inquiry and booking through to performance, Ian was always reassuring, helping make everything run smoothly and effortlessly for me. Ian's a great guy, he fitted in perfectly and we all had a wonderful afternoon. Whilst friends and family were getting a drink and settling in, he performed a lovely set, providing the perfect ambiance. He took a short break and was great with my guests, then he gave us another set and we all had a little boogie in the garden, perfect! Highly recommended and would book him again! "Hi Dermot Just to thank you for your and the band's entertainment gig at our daughters's recent wedding. It was obvious that each band member was a professional both in proficency of instrument and presentation of the music. I was also impressed with the mix of old classical Irish (re O'Carolan) and the more recent lively musical pieces. Indeed, the songs also exhibited this diversity with noted classics and singalong standards. It was assuring when the band arrived with ample time for set-up and ready to play on cue. Thanks again. "Mike (aka Rhys) performed at our small company Christmas party and did a fantastic job of filling the room with ambience. His repertoire is extensive and he interspersed christmassy numbers adapted to his distinct vocal tone and style on the acoustic guitar. Mike was definitely part of the success of the evening and I wouldn't question having him perform at future events."

"We booked Jack for my ‘Nashville’ themed 50th birthday party, and he was absolutely fantastic! from the start, communication was smooth and easy, and he was a pleasure to deal with. Jack arrived on time, set up quickly, and played an amazing mix of songs that catered perfectly to the mix of ages at the party. Jack was energetic, professional and he didn’t take one break (He was just happy to be topped up with a cup of tea) Keeping the atmosphere lively throughout the night. Everyone commented on how much they loved the music, and asked where I found him. He totally made the party. I couldn’t have asked for better entertainment, and I’m already looking forward to booking him again. Highly recommend!"

"Michael is a perfect musician to invite into your home, your wedding your corporate event or serious arts programme. He is a consummate musician, able to move between genres whilst playing his own interpretations and compositions which are themselves wonderful. However, more than that, he is a great entertainer. He knows his audiences and ensures they are engaged and happy. We asked him to play at a piano warming party for a Steinway grand . There were musicians and composers there as well as people with no musical background and everyone loved it and loved him. Can’t recommend him more."
