"Nicky, Jake and Richie provided exactly the blend of music we were hoping for to entertain a fun loving mixed age group at our 50th wedding anniversary. It offered rich entertainment while allowing guest to converse and mingle - and later on the opportunity for hitting the dance floor, even at our advanced age! "We hired The Velvet Tones for our Wedding. They were great from start to finish! We had solo piano at the start of our ceremony, then the singer sang “At Last” as I walked down the aisle and it was stunning!! The Quartet played jazz during our drinks reception which created a great atmosphere without being over-powering. Finally, they gave us a run for our money with an amazing set of Motown to kick off the dancing. We had our own DJ to take over but everyone was already in such a good mood from the band. I really recommend this band as they are so versatile and easy to work with."

"Wanted to send our extended thanks from the whole team and residents for the fantastic performance you had put on at our residential care home. You not only looked the part, your voice was amazing and you interacted well with our residents. "We booked this band for my dad's 80th birthday party and everyone loved them. They arrived on time to do all of their sound checks. They performed their hearts out all night and were full of good humour and each member was friendly and approachable. They played a good range of music for all the generations at the party and they even came and asked us what tracks we would like in the break so that it would feel like our party. I would have them back again and would definitely recommend! Thanks guys - you gave us all a brilliant night. (July 2022)"

"What a fantastic band! I cannot praise them highly enough. They really made the party fly. Fantastic people, amazing vocals, fabulously talented musicians. They are all so full of energy and fun. They had everyone on their feet calling for more. They were very professional, great communication from when I booked them till when they left the venue. They made everything so easy. Everyone LOVED them from my teenage stepdaughter to my 80 year old Mum and everyone in between. I cannot thank you enough Lazy River Band, you brought the whole event together and left everyone with sore feet and huge smiles! Thank you !"
