Review Centre: Singing Guitarists

"I found James while perusing for a live musician for a surprise 70th birthday party we were holding for our mum. From start to finish, James was communicative and kept me informed every step of the way. We welcomed mum in while James played a small DJ set, then he sang live. I was blown away by his talent and the hypnotic smoothness of his voice. He played a further set after a break and really got the crowd up and dancing. All in all, a highly talented musician and I commend anyone who can get to the high pitches of the Spice Girls :-) We had some of the guests round for breakfast for the following morning and they too were completely blown away by his talent. Thank you so much James, you are one of a kind and we will definitely be calling on you again! You made everyone’s night, but most importantly, you made my mum’s night."

"Stephen was amazing at my husband’s surprise 40th birthday party! He is so professional, talented and has a great sense of humour. We didn’t want him to leave! Our guests commented on how great he was too. He played all our requests and even played and sang songs that he'd never played before the party. I would highly recommend and we will be definitely using him again. Thank you so much Stephen. An absolute top guy."

"Richie played a wonder set for us at our wedding party last summer, we had arranged a disco as well, but because we all had such a wonderful time singing and dancing with the great play list Richie performed we never used it! His equipment is first rate too! A fabulous day made even better by live music by a talented musician, we would highly recommend him to everyone and just need another party soon so we can all sing and dance along with him again."

"We hired Rhys for our wedding on Saturday 7th March. Right from the start Rhys was brilliant, I requested quite a few songs that he didn't initially know and gave him a huge job in learning and putting everything together. Rhys sent me updates, snippets of the songs and communicated right up to the morning of our day ☺️ Rhys sang whilst we signed our marriage documents and then during our canapes - he was amazing. We loved it so much that our drinks reception turned into one of the most special moments where all of our guests gathered and sang along with Rhys which was magical. Rhys was polite, friendly and stayed after for food, chatting to our guests and joining in with our wedding! I honestly couldn't have asked for a better talent - it was perfect for us! For years we had been set on having a guitarist at our special day and choosing Rhys was the best decision! We would recommend him to anyone looking for a beautiful voice at any event! "Dom performed at our wedding in august. First of all organising everything with Dom was easy and he was accommodating to our requests. Sending through our preferences from his playlist meant we heard all our favourites. On the day his relaxed style fit perfectly with our day. Dom’s voice is beautiful and note perfect and all the guests commented how good he was. I could not recommend dom enough. If you are looking for a singer for your wedding or celebration who can play in the background but will wow your guests you should definitely book Dom. Lovely person and lovely voice!"

"Absolute 5 star entertainment. He played our wedding in October and kept everyone entertained, the mood up high and was a pleasure to communicate with . I sent him home with lots of bacon rolls , (always remember to feed your musicians !) Would deffo book for another event and recommend to all . Thank you for helping make our day extra special 🖤"

"James performed on my wife's 40th and it was an amazing performance. Every bit of music he played or sung was melodious and enjoyable. He was courteous and adaptable for the requests of songs despite the event was running bit late I would definitely recommend him and consider him for my next celebration! "

"I booked John on Saturday 15th Feb 2020 for a Johnny Cash tribute night. The evening was planned to encourage customers to book a night out following the Friday Valentines evening. John did not disappoint …………….. Since taking over the Golden Boar, the evening was one of the best nights we've had so far. From when he arrived, set up through to a packed dance floor he was professional and a true entertainer. He will definitely be coming back Thanks John for a great night "
