Review Centre: Singing Guitarists

"Rob was simply fantastic and made a massive contribution to our day. You instantly get the sense that Rob is an experienced musician and a fantastic guitarist and singer. As a guitarist myself I was a little envious to hear that guitar is Rob's secondary instrument with his main instrument being the drums... obviously Rob is a serious talent! Rob was a true professional; arrived early, quickly set up and used his own judgment to play where and when was appropriate for the setting/ceremony. Rob also went out of his way to learn an instrumental rendition of Jose Gonzalez's 'Heartbeats' for my wife's entrance which couldn't have been better. All in all, we can't recommend Rob enough - 10/10."

"Davey has played twice for us this year and each time he has been fantastic. For our wedding, he played at the church, for the drinks reception, first dance and he was our DJ. He completed the wedding. Everyone said how amazing he was and how great he sounded. He was extremely professional throughout, nothing was too much trouble. For my 30th, Davey played as people were arriving and then DJed. Again, everyone commented at how great he was and he made the night extra special. We are now looking forward to the next big event so we can have Davey back again! "

"From doing the booking through to the final piece of music Dan was fantastic. The booking was made simple and he responds quickly. We didn't pick many specific songs and trusted Dan which was absolutely the right decision! He read the audience so well and his voice is amazing, everyone commented on how talented he is! From the live set he did to the dj session afterwards he took requests and literally catered for everyone. I would not hesitate to recommend Dan for any event. The great music hugely contributed to our wedding celebrations and made it so special. Dan - Thank you so much for your kindness and talent! Xx"

"Wow! Highly Recommend Wow! What a voice and what a performance. Dom provided the perfect musical background to our wedding celebrations. His communication was brilliant and he was even kind enough to learn some new songs that were close to our hearts. Everyone at the wedding commented on how talented he was and Lucy’s Dad is even planning another party just so that he can invite Dom over to sing again! Thank you and hopefully see you for another celebration soon!! "

"Absolutely 10/10 from Josh, for just one man and a guitar he completely smashed it. Fantastic voice and did a great job keeping the crowd entertained. I would recommend Josh to anybody looking for live music at an event he really was the highlight of our evening! I just need to find an excuse for another party so we can book him again! "

"We booked Sam, after looking for ages for an acoustic guitarist for our wedding day. we had a 3 hour period that we needed to fill with music during an afternoon tea. Sam arrived whilst we were all eating our meal, and set up outside ready for when the meal was over. We initially picked him because of his song choice. There were a lot of songs that we liked and that most people do not do. Bob Dylan, Eddie Vedder etc. We were over running by about an hour due to speeches taking a bit longer than we would have hoped. Yet Sam carried on playing for what he was booked for, doing an hour longer than was booked because of the hour we missed at the start. Everybody commented on how good he was and how he perfect he helped with the transition between the formal day time and the more festival feel we wanted at night. We would book him again without a doubt, and the key thing is he is affordable. some acoustic guitarists we had looked at beforehand were charging up to £750 for the same time frame. Thanks again Sam!"
