Review Centre: 1950s & 60s Style Bands

"It was our pleasure to have Ben and the band play for us at our Captains Dinner Dance at Basingstoke Golf Club last Saturday Night. We had a quartet playing (Double Bass, Saxophone, Drums and Guitar and lead vocals) and they were excellent, the mood was perfect and the dance floor full all night. We had discussed the playlist beforehand, we were given some sound pointers but the band also added some of our favourite numbers to their sets, and they nailed them! Also and importantly the band were professional, dependable and great communicators in the run up to our event - fully recommend them. "

"We hired The very popular Polka Dot Peaches for an event in June. They were amazing and were terrific with the little girls afterwards in taking some time to allow for photos to be taken. All three are not only professional but very easy to get along with. We would certainly book them again."

"Acousonic came to play for 150 of us for an Xmas party and were absolutely first class in every way. Andy and the boys rocked it from start to finish. There wasn’t a moment during the entire set where people weren’t up on the dance floor having a great time. I would recommend Acousonic to anyone looking for a highly skilled, lively band who really know their stuff."

"Fuego were simply the best and we couldn't have imagined any other musicians we'd rather had danced to at the end of our special day. They were very helpful and keen to discuss the playlist before the big day as well as confirm timings for set up and their sets. They listened to our ideas and made excellent recommendations. On the day, they arrived promptly (despite the wedding being in a field in the middle of nowhere!) and set up quietly in the background. We were able to time it so we could use their mic for our speeches which was very handy. All the members of the band were very polite and friendly. The music they produced was just fantastic and we had so many amazing comments about them. They played a mixture of classics and contemporary songs which allowed everyone to get going onto the dance floor in no time. Noelle’s voice is just wow and the Latin covers are sublime. If you want to party the night away with a fun, friendly band who have a unique Latin flare I'd definitely recommend hiring these guys. "

The repertoire was the perfect combination for all ages and played flawlessly and Graces voice was out of this world. Perfect and friendly band for any occasion, would highly recommend. "A sparkling performance for the whole set. They played what we asked for, brought the whole selection to life, kept people dancing non-stop and are great individual performers in their own right. Also, they are a great bunch of blokes who were easy-going when the timing changed a bit and were very happy to fit in with us. I could not think of any way they could be better. "
