"Talented Jazz duo who created the most amazing atmosphere at our Wedding breakfast. This was a surprise to my Wife and she was thrilled to arrive at the venue to hear them playing. "Couldn't recommend these guys enough! We booked Dave and his band for my mums 70th and they were fantastic ! Everyone loved them and they read the room really well (nice background music when people arrived then stuff for people to dance to). They brought all their own gear and only needed a plug socket, so setup was really smooth. And communication in the lead up was great - Dave was so friendly and helpful. Seeing my mum and dad dancing along to the music and having a great time was a real highlight - huge thanks to Dave and the band for an amazing night. Note, we had Dave on guitar and vocals, and someone on keys and bass - all top quality musicians."

"Swing is the Thing played at our wedding and were absolutely sensational. Suzanne and all the band contributed to making our wedding absolutely fantastic. The music was perfect and every single guest commented on how brilliant the group was. They adapted to our schedule, had been in touch beforehand to enquire as to whether or not we had any particular requests, and tailored their performance to our evening. From dedicating a special song to the two of us, to performing in a charismatic, lively and thoroughly enthusiastic way, we couldn't have wished for a better band or nicer group of people. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this band for any event - they were well and truly fabulous and we feel so grateful that they played for our wedding. Even their outfits contributed to creating a fantastic atmosphere! Thank you Swing is the Thing!"

"Soli Strings really made our wedding day extra special. They were great to deal with from the off, offering us an extensive list of songs to choose from, and even learning a new number for us to walk down the aisle to. The guys really made the evening special and played our first dance music, which they learned especially for us. "I went to your performance yesterday at the St. Mary's Community Hall in Cockerton, and you were excellent! Some people sing in such a highfaluting way that it is difficult to make our what they are singing, but you sang beautifully, and the songs from the musicals and other popular songs were great!
