"We have been delighted by the atmosphere and joy that Charlie and Jarrod have brought to events we've hosted. They're both charismatic musicians who read the room perfectly, playing in a way that energiesies the atmosphere yet doesn't dominate. We've used them for outdoor and indoor events which they've adapted to brilliantly and we look forward to welcoming them back in the future."

"We had such a great night for my mum’s 80th. There was a wide mix of people there and everyone loved the band across the board. Most people got up for a dance but many were just happy to watch with a beer or three. It was perfect - thanks so much to Martyn and the band for being so accommodating, talented and brilliant! They even learned my mum’s favourite skiffle song from her younger days when she was in a band. Really appreciated. "

"What a fantastic band! We booked CDTS for a Charity Gala Ball, and what a wonderful addition to the event they were. All our guests made for the dance floor and were thoroughly entertained and I can't recommend them highly enough. Delightful people and they certainly add value to your event!"

She was flexible in piecing together a quartet that suited our needs, and the atmosphere created by Sarah-Jane and her fellow musicians on the day was superb. "Bessie’s life in blues brought back to life. Some performers deserve to be known by more than their work. Bessie Smith won fame as Empress of the Blues in the 1020’s, but there was more to her life than money and fame. She died in 1937, but 80 years on a good sized crowd were held rapt at the Thunderbolt as Dave Merrick narrated her life story, from a ragged upbringing in the American South, with the help of original recordings. Bessie shot to fame because her unique vocal style could cut through the limitations of 1920s recording technology. But it was the live performances the Totterdown audience were waiting for, and Natalie Davis on vocals, with Dave on guitar and Brenan Whitmore on saxophone did not disappoint. Renditions of I Need A Little Sugar in my Bowl, and ‘Taint Nobodies Business If I Do made the magic of Bessie shine, from the slow paced blues of the 1920s to the syncopated swing of the 1930. . the show had the audience rapt. - Paul Breeden, South Bristol Voice (May 01, 2017)"

"Mel is my ‘first call’ session singer. Whether it’s a rip-roaring rock song or an emotional ballad, Mel has an uncanny ability to find just the right mood and approach in her vocal performance to compliment the song perfectly. She is able to quickly understand what the songwriter and/or producer is trying to achieve and by using a balance of her exquisite tone and perfectly honed technique she is always able to come up with exactly what is required. Added to that, Mel is a joy to work with in the studio with a fantastic attitude and work ethic. She gets the job done!"

"We just wanted to say an enormous THANK YOU to you and Alex for the fantastic set you did on Saturday at Ben’s 40’s Themed 40th Birthday Party! You were so friendly and helpful that many of the guests assumed you were friends of Ben’s. Well you are now! Your voices and Alex’s guitar playing were really lovely and the choice of songs was spot on. I really appreciated the way you took charge of any announcements and navigated the events during the evening without ever taking over, so that it took away any stress from us. Thanks also for enabling Izzy to use the backing tracks so that she could sing some special songs for Ben .You both really helped to make the evening such an enjoyable event for all involved. Lots of people commented on the music and wanted to know who you were, and the staff at the venue said how much they had enjoyed the music and the atmosphere it created. I know Ben will be in touch with you soon, but once again thank you both so much again for helping to make the event ‘go with a swing’ so that we all had a really lovely evening.
