"Excellent. The band were superb. They played for my 60th birthday party and the music was excellent quality and just right for the varied aged audience. They had us all up dancing but people were still able to chat as the volume was just right. . They were very professional in terms of communication, punctuality and quality of sound and music. I wish I could have another celebration to hire them again!!"

"When we were looking for the band for our wedding, we wanted a band that had a wide variety of songs from different eras in their repertoire with the ability to perform big powerful ballads and that is exactly what we go with W!RED. As soon as we heard Sue’s incredible voice. We knew they were the band for us and booked them. As soon as we got a couple of months of the wedding I dropped Sue a message. She called me back and was really helpful and reassuring and put me in touch with another member of the band Martin. We arranged a call to go over the details. Martin was friendly and welcoming straight away. Never having booked a band before we didn’t know how much or how little we’d need to be involved, but Martin simply went through a few details with us and then handled the rest. Prior to our wedding Martin took the trouble to edit a pre-recorded dedication. Together with our choice of first dance songs, so that it all went smoothly on the night. He also sent over their set list so we could make some requests. On the night, the band set-up quickly and without fuss and had a playlist on as early as they could to get our guests warmed up. Martin had a quick chat with me about timings for the evening for our cake cutting and first dance, then as soon as that was complete they went straight into their sets and had everyone up on the dance floor for the rest of the night, even finishing with a couple of encores. They were then good enough to leave a playlist running whilst they packed away. Meaning that we had music right up to the end of the evening. Everybody in the band was friendly and helpful. Particularly Martin. That’s not to mention that they are also frankly brilliant at what they do. Sues’s voice is incredible and recordings we heard before as good as they are don’t do it justice. Many guest commented on how much they enjoyed the performance. They even got the seal of approval from a few people I know who are musically hard to please. A brilliant night, enhanced by W!RED. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone "

"Big thanks to Rox & The Roots for putting on such a fantastic show at the Greyhound of the Year Awards. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we’ve never seen the dance floor fill up that quickly before! I’ve heard so many great responses from the gig and we’ve already been asked about a repeat performance from the band next year! We’ll look forward to hopefully welcoming you back for our next bash!"

"We had a great night with Uptown Groove on Saturday night. The band turned up at the time when they said they would, did their checks and were ready to go when we were. They were flexible to work their set times around the football match that was finishing (England) and that was really appreciated - everyone was happy! The music they played was very varied and from the start it got people up dancing. A great evening was had by all. "

"Wow! Not sure I can even sum up the amazing entertainment provided by this band! They completely blew our expectations out of the water and to top it off, they are really nice guys! We will be certainly using them again, what an amazing addition to our annual dinner, the party was started and the dance floor was full. "The Marvellous Motown Souls played our wedding and absolutely smashed it. We had old classics, pop favourites, slow dances and head bangers. I would describe it as dance floor rocking, glow stick throwing, inflatable guitar weilding, music madness! The whole dancefloor was packed from the start and we've heard nothing but great reviews from all our guests. Thank you so much for including our random requests and making it a night to remember. "Wow, these guys are just terrific. We went for the 4 piece and they were sensational. All our guests loved them. They were interactive and knew exactly what to play and when. Their manager was incredibly communicative before the event and nothing was too much trouble. Great musicians, great guys and we were thrilled. Thank you."
