Review Centre: 1950s & 60s Style Bands

"Party Gangsters were the highlight for my 30th Birthday – ALL generations spent the whole night dancing away. They tailored the night to my requirements and did a set list with songs I would like and I had such a happy time! Would recommend for anyone who wants a great band that gets the room dancing/with lights and even disco tunes for the breaks! They were so good that my husband and I booked them for our wedding last month and yet again they didn't disappoint - I am a music lover and there is no better than a live band to play at any celebration - Beats any DJ any day in my opinion because they tailor the songs to you and really get the room grooving! Can't wait for another celebration so we can book the band again - Great value,Great Band members and Great Music! You will be hard pushed to find another band with this talent for this price - Fantastic! "

"We booked Party Sounds for our wedding reception and they were absolutely fantastic! The boys played a brilliant mix of music which had people of all ages up and dancing which made for a great party. The band learnt a new song for our first dance which meant a lot to us and they put their own great spin on it. Fantastic time had by all and just a really lovely bunch of guys! "From start to finish dealing with Starbound they have been professional, polite and very accommodating to the venue, timings and our requests! We were very keen to have a band play at our wedding venue and after much research we found The MonStars who helped make our day perfect! From the moment they started playing people were on the dance floor and their balance of live music and the Spotify set was perfect for us as it meant people had time to cool off and eat in between their sets! Thanks again Starbound!"

"We were very impressed with the Pure Tones trio. They were professional from start to finish. Before the day they took care to discover the type of music we would like and performed it all with flair. They captured the mood of the evening perfectly and surprised us with a very entertaining last dance that went down very well with everyone! A lot of guests remarked on how great the band were and the dance floor was full all evening! We would happily recommend Pure Tones to anyone looking for the perfect group for their wedding. "

"I recently booked The Pharaoh's for my 50th Birthday Party. I really wanted live music but was keen to hear the band first, before I committed. Leanne, the lead singer was totally great. She invited us to a rehearsal and to another event the band were performing at. When we heard them, we were blown away and did not hesitate to book them for our party. On the night, they played a brilliant mix of music that got everyone up on their feet. All my guests agreed with us that they are a fabulous band and Leanne has a gorgeous soulful voice. Leanne also asked if there was anything we would particularly like them to perform.... As it happens, there was a song and the band learnt it especially for us and performed it brilliantly on the night. It put the perfect touch to a really memorable evening. If you are looking for a class act - look no further. Just book them!"

"Simon was fantastic from start to finish. He made the planning extremely easy, had a huge range of songs to choose from (and even learnt one for us!) and arrived early. He made the atmosphere of the party so great, and I've had the best feedback from all of my friends who attended - he really got the party going! Thank you Simon, you were amazing!"
