Review Centre: 1950s & 60s Style Bands

"The Shakesters played at The Departure Lounge cafe for the cafes’ 10th anniversary and it couldn’t have been a better choice of bands. The weather was not on our side but the band managed to get everyone dancing and keep the atmosphere lively and fun. They have a unique style which fits the cafe perfectly. We’ll definitely be keeping the band in our minds for any future events."

"IPU Group is a manufacturing company based in West Bromwich with a proud 60-year history. We often put events on for our staff and to celebrate the end of COVID restrictions we put on a ‘festival vibes’ event on Saturday 24th July and asked Ruby to perform along with another artist to entertain our wonderful employees. Ruby turned up nice and early, and had great communication with the other supplier and IPU event staff to ensure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Ruby is a great bubbly personality and her performance certainly matched it. We would hire her again if such an event happens in the future."

"I just wanted to say a big thank you for playing at our wedding at Lulworth Castle, you guys were absolutely brilliant and were everything we had hoped for. You perfectly captured the mood of the day and everyone said how much they enjoyed the music and dancing along. I only wish Luke and I could have stayed longer to dance more! Luke and I are still so thrilled about our day and how perfect it was for us and your music at the reception drinks and in the evening played a huge part in making it just as we had imagined. I think two of your biggest fans are my grandparents who amazed me by not only lasting the whole night but also dancing on several occasions – my grandma called me up on Saturday to sing Chattanooga Choo Choo down the phone at me because she said she has been singing it every day since the wedding! "

"Your repertoire of music was exactly as we requested. To please such a wide age range from 10 year old to 80 year old is some achievement. You also managed to include some songs that Bob and I requested !!! Lots of our friends and family commented on how they enjoyed the music. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend you. "The Blue Suede Shoes gave an outstanding performance at our engagement party and were instrumental in creating the great atmosphere enjoyed by all. Their professionalism was displayed throughout and we had endless feedback from our guests on how good they sounded. Everyone was impressed by them. They compliment each other perfectly and we have of course requested them to play at our wedding later this year!"
