"Absolutely fantastic, professional from start to finish. Nothing was was too much trouble and they were even understanding about the delay in their set. Great music and the guests loved it, new and old songs so catered for all. Guests never stopped dancing I would definitely recommend them and I’ll Definitely be booking again for future events. "Solid Gold were the band I chose for my 70th birthday party. They responded immediately to my initial requests and communication was excellent throughout the process. In the day they arrived early despite quite a long journey to get to our corner of Kent, and began setting up immediately. They are a talented and amiable bunch of excellent professional musicians who provided us with two brilliant one hour sets of music we’d agreed in advance, ranging from 50’s classics through to up to date popular bangers. This is their true strength; an ability to cover any kind of music to match the occasion. I cannot recommend Solid Gold highly enough, they’re a pleasure to deal with and provided a superb musical backdrop to my special evening. Thanks again guys!"

"These guys were absolutely superb. We hired them for our wedding. Ben gave a personal call after I enquired, they weren’t part of an agency. Very personable and very easy to talk to. We hadn’t met them before the day and you are never sure how these things can go but they by far exceeded our expectations. They had great energy on the night, which made for an incredible evening of their live tracks. Ben also helped produce a bespoke playlist for us and played these songs when they were not playing live. They were professional and supportive throughout the whole process and our guests loved their performance on the night. Thank you so much."

"Firstly we, Kestrel, would like to thank you for the part you both played in ensuring that our celebration of achieving three Queens Awards for International Trade at the House of Commons was such a huge success. We appreciate that it is no mean feat to tackle the large amount of process, forms and general red tape required to gain access to the Houses of Parliament, have yourselves and your equipment approved, and set up within an extremely short time frame. You also managed all of their decibel and internal requirements without any one from Kestrel needing to have any involvement – which is very much appreciated on such a busy occasion. Leaving me free to manage all other aspects of the event, without needing to be involved in the music and entertainment. When we heard you play at the Hoste Arms in Burnham Market, we were extremely impressed especially with the combination saxophone music and really feel that the variety of music you can provide makes you flexible enough to attend a wide range of events. That along with your organisational skills and professional attitude is hugely to be commended. We would not hesitate to use you again, with or without the saxophone, and equally to recommend you to other high profile events within both the corporate and the private entertainment sector. Another massive plus for us was the feedback we received from our guests, who absolutely loved the evening and many were to be found just enjoying listening to your music and we received comments on the night and also feedback to say that it really made the evening. Once again thank you to you both, and please don’t hesitate to contact us should you ever require more formal references for other engagements. We hope to hear you again soon "

"Lara’s voice is absolutely incredible. Every single person at our wedding couldn’t stop complimenting her singing, and her songs were just wonderful. Lara is professional and was incredibly accommodating to our personal needs during the wedding, she is organised, and has excellent communication in the planning procedure. I would recommend her in a heartbeat and am so lucky she performed at my wedding."

"Nick and the guys were absolutely amazing - from our first dance to our final song there was never an empty dance floor! Our first dance wasn’t a regular of their repertoire but The Leathernecks learned it - and it was perfection and brought the night alive with such ease. Guests were in awe on the night and and continue to tell us how incredible they were. Thank you again for going above and beyond our expectations! Couldn’t recommend them enough."
