"We asked Steph to perform during the drinks reception after our wedding ceremony. She was very easy to work with and performed a mix of genres and awesome covers. We, and our guests, loved her performance and she really added to the atmosphere of our day. We would definitely recommend her!"

"Ollie was kind enough to come and play at a small garden party, making it an intimate gig. He really made it a special occasion and didn’t falter when it started to rain, but in true style kept going. He was amazing because he catered for everyone’s style and even adapted to their strange requests! Would definitely book him again "

"Callum stepped in when a band we’d booked had to cancel. Nothing was a problem, Callum was amazing, even changing from inside to outside halfway through the performance wasn’t an issue. He sang great songs and can certainly play that guitar. Everyone enjoyed the evening. Thanks Callum, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you and would definitely book again. 👍🏼"

"Huw was a fantastic addition to our wedding and I'm really glad that we chose him to entertain our guests during the wedding reception and breakfast. He is extremely talented, yet unassuming at the same time. We had many positive comments about Huw throughout the day and I would thoroughly recommend him to anybody who is considering an acoustic guitarist for their big day."

"Sam sang at my wedding in August 2017 in Shrewsbury. From the moment I booked with her she was pleasant, easy to talk to, quick to reply and accommodating with requests I had. At my wedding she brought all her own equipment and guests commented on how amazing she was, even the registrar and our videographer said how beautiful her voice was. Thank you for beautiful songs during our ceremony and drinks reception, only regret not getting much chance to speak to her to thank her personally."

"Emma is so talented, versatile and presents her extensive and varied reperoire with energy and enthusiasm. Her singing is truly inspirational and anyone who enjoys a dance is in for a musical treat. Simply the best we have experienced in 17 years working as dance teachers on board cruise liners."

"Muriele is a captivating performer with a voice that adapts with such ease to the mood of the songs she clearly loves We invited her to the Watlington Twinning Group's re-launch and found an audience that were immediately entranced with a catalogue that included the novel, alongside many older favourites from the French songbook.Smiles and clapping of approval followed easily and enthusiastically after every song. Twinning groups and others should invite her if possible. "If you read only ONE line of this review...BOOK THE VINTAGE VOCALIST FOR YOUR EVENT! From the initial phone contact with Paula to her saying goodbye on the day, our time and experience was 100% positive in every way. My wife and I were able to choose from a huge set list of songs from various musical era's and genre's and Paula seamlessly organised all our favourites into a cracking party playlist for the wedding reception. By the third song, she had guests up dancing and by the second set, my 86 year old Auntie (who walks with two sticks), was throwing her shapes on the dance floor! Paula absolutely made our wedding day! We had guests from the age of 7 to 86 and we can honestly say that each and every one of them loved Paula's performance. Many spoke to her themselves to thank and praise her and many more told us how impressed they were and that they'd be either booking her themselves or would attend venues she'd be performing at in the future! Paula looked stunning in her classy vintage dress and her fabulous voice entertained our party and the local York residents, who sat out on their apartment balconies with a drink to lap up the free entertainment! What makes Paula so special, is that she instantly felt like a friend and a guest, not a singer we'd booked for our wedding entertainment. Her warm, open and down-to-earth personality, instantly puts you at ease and she has a brilliant Yorkshire accent and sense of humour! I loved that as I returned from the bar with a drink to keep her refreshed during her break, I found Paula sat amongst all my family, laughing and joking. We felt happy to see her enjoying the day with us and confident that our entertainment was in good hands. Our 8 year old son was desperate to sing a duet with Paula and we loved how accommodating and kind she was. Some artists would be precious about their professional set being gatecrashed unexpectedly, but Paula embraced the request and handed him his own microphone! Our family really liked and admired her for going with the flow and making the day special for everyone. So if you're considering booking The Vintage Vocalist and need a little persuasion to choose this incredibly talented Yorkshire lass, let me leave you with this... I showed my son the official wedding photo's and laughed at how happy he looked on his photo's with Paula and he turned to me and said... "What you laughing at Mummy?...I was living my BEST LIFE that day!!" I think coming from an 8 year old boy...that says it all."
