Review Centre: Party Bands

"We held a milestone family birthday party at the Northampton Marriott hotel last weekend and engaged Unit 4 to provide the live music. WOW!! They are quite simply a brilliant band, playing a huge diversity of music from every decade from the 60s to the noughties and packing the dancefloor for the whole evening. Three great guys, hugely talented and having the fantastic ability to entertain all ages (our guests were 0-93!) and all musical tastes. All of our guests commented on how fantastic & professional Unit 4 are. We couldn't have asked for anything better for our celebration, and would absolutely recommend them to anyone. If you get the chance to see them perform anywhere, please do! Thanks so much guys, it was awesome."

"We loved having House of Chords playing at our wedding last month. The communication beforehand was brilliant and we immediately felt we'd made a great choice. On the night, the set sounded amazing and our guests were on the dancefloor all night. We've had so many great comments about the band since, would highly recommend!"

"Its been 10 years since I ran The Bear, but I remember they were excellent and probably hadn’t been going long at that point. The lead singers voice is very impressive and quite unique. The band were very tight and produced excellent cover versions particularly the chilli’s stuff. They put their own twist on certain songs and make them their own. I’d definitely book them again"

"The Original 90’s Britpop Experience were absolutely fantastic, they created a perfect atmosphere and filled the dance floor almost instantly. They were very professional from booking right through to the big day, and even emailed me afterwards to congratulate us. Loads of my guests commented on how good they were. Highly recommended!"

"We took a bit of a risk booking the band having not seen them live and only listened to clips online. It was the best risk I've ever taken. If you think they sound good via audio or video clips then I can assure you they're 10 times better live. The band were extremely accommodating and well managed. Mitch was excellent in answering all questions we had prior to the event. From first song to last the band were amazing, even the music they provide during the interval and as they pack up was perfect. The mix of songs from the set list was perfect, the dance floor was full all night and people were chanting for more at the end. It made a perfect day even more special. We would recommend them to anyone, you will not be disappointed. Thanks guys, you were amazing. "

I live Eastbourne and saw last year’s 60s show and this year’s 60s and 70s show at the Bandstand, and I always come away ”buzzing” from your shows. I have always followed music from that era. "The guys were our live entertainment and provided DJ music for our annual Charity Ball. Communication was excellent during the run up to the event. On the night they were hugely flexible, working with us in relation to timings of sets played. They rocked the room; the dance floor was rammed from the time they started playing to when the last song was played at 1am. Great range of music performed; many very positive comments received from our guests, they didn’t want them to stop! Huge thanks to Joel, Darius and Dave in supporting us to raise a great amount for our wonderful charity. They were not only great musicians and singers but had a lovely level of interaction with me as their customer which I very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend!!"
