"We booked Jerome for my partner's 50th birthday and we couldn't have chosen anyone better. He got the party rocking with a brilliantly performed 2 x 45 minute set of classics (The Jam, Elvis, Johnnie Cash etc). Many of the partygoers commented on how much they enjoyed his set and he had to bear the burden of two encores at the end!! Communication was great from first to last and there was a lovely touch where he put a few songs which we'd requested which weren't in his repertoire on a mix to play during his break. All in all an excellent performer and a really nice guy! Thanks Jerome! "

"What a joy Mark was at our village fete, the evening was cold but Mark kept us there with his crowd pleasing tunes as we danced around the fire pits under the stars to Maggie May, Honky Tonk Woman and Mustang Sally to name but three of the best 😊 We would definitely recommend Mark for your event "

"We have so much to thank Roxy for. When we first made contact with her, we started talking about song choices and she even agreed to learn a couple of new songs that we had chosen for our day that she didn’t have on her play list. When we asked her to connect directly with another of our live musicians so that they could collaborate for a special moment for us, she didn’t hesitate, and no surprises that moment was absolutely perfect. We really tried to capture our personalities on the day, particularly with song choices and style, and Roxy was a perfect fit. She demonstrated some skills too as when there was a little delay with the bridal party walk, and she had a song to sing that was getting close to the end, she just looped around and carried on like a true pro, and I’m pretty sure no one even noticed. We were so happy we found such a sweet girl with a wonderful talent and would recommend her in a heartbeat."

"I booked Lucinda for a surprise 60th wedding anniversary gift for two opera connoisseurs at their home. I didn’t know if it would work but I had faith in Lucinda from the outset. Not only does she have an impressive CV and extensive plaudits, she is so professional. Firstly, Lucinda is very passionate - it shows in her superlative organisation, she sought a clear brief and was extremely responsive with communication throughout the booking (which she accepted and confirmed within 2 hours. For Lucinda the ‘customer is king’ insofar as she is very client-focused, openly explained the logistics from her self-sufficiency with audio technology & choice of arias for the performance, and the right presentation and make up for the event. Everything with Lucinda was seamless, engendering my utter trust in her competence and ability. The recipients of this surprise were cagily forewarned by me of a ‘delivery’ which may cause a temporary noise disruption for neighbours. The rest (they say) is history - metaphorically Lucinda’s performance brought the house down! My friends loved their surprise gift, the neighbours enjoyed it too, and apparently a passer-by in a car was so mesmerised he ‘followed the music’ like a Homeric sailor following the song a siren, and invited to stay for the rest of Lucinda’s set. He too was very impressed. Nor did Lucinda dash away after performing, rather she stayed and swapped stories with the happy couple of the opera world. Thank you Lucinda for translating my moment of inspiration (and mischievousness 😉) to life for two very dear friends on their 60th wedding anniversary. 🙏🏽 As lifelong opera fans with experience on the global opera circuit they don’t hand out praise liberally when it comes to opera singers but said “Lucinda’s performance was great”, that she is “extremely talented” and that they and their neighbours were “utterly delighted” by her. It is an understatement to say this was a job well done. Lucinda has given my friends a personalised performance and a marvellous memory of a lifetime together, with her operatic songlist. In achieving the desired note, Lucinda delivered drama, hope, and passion - the stuff of their life together. In doing so she delivered a top quality performance that was well beyond good value - it is priceless. I cannot recommend Lucinda more highly - she has trained in the most prestigious academies, and it shows. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again and anyone who does can be confident of an outstanding outcome. "

"We highly recommend Jonathan for weddings: we had a small party of 21 guests & everyone was impressed with Jukebox Jono, his great voice & his wonderful musical talent. We were singing & dancing all night- such a brilliant time. Jono also gave our grandson Jude ( age 10)the opportunity & confidence to get up on the mic & sing a favourite song- we couldn’t have asked for a better wedding present ! Jonathan made our wedding night so special in lots of ways, he’s definitely a class act 🤩❤️"

"From the planning stage through to the big day itself, Glow Band were an amazing part of our wedding celebration. They made it easy and effortless to plan what we wanted and we knew we were in safe, talented hands. As a slightly anxious wedding planner myself, I was calmed by knowing I could rely on them to deliver exactly what we dreamed of. On the day, we experienced some unexpected minor delays in the running of the day - Glow Band adapted instantly to these delays and timing changes and went with the flow. They were ready to start as soon as we needed, always happy to adjust timings where we asked. Having Glow Band perform a unique version of our aisle song was one of the highlights of our wedding day. The connection between Michelle and James meant that they knew how to seamlessly extend and adapt the song under pressure to allow me more time to prepare myself to walk in the bridal procession. Our wedding day then featured an acoustic set as well as an electric set to get the party started in the evening. Every guest enjoyed this part especially as we were all up, singing and dancing to the classic hits. Michelle’s presence and energy on stage is incredible and James’ guitar solos were an exceptional treat for us all. You can instantly tell these two are in their element as soon as you see them on stage together. They were even happy to let my saxophonist bridesmaid join them up on stage to perform together for a few numbers - their flexibility and openness with this meant a lot to me. Overall, we were thrilled to have Glow Band at our wedding: they truly livened up our intimate celebration and brought everyone together! Thank you so much Michelle and James - Love from a very happy bride!"
