"I have listened to Jonathan Vinten with real pleasure over a number of years, playing solo, with his trio and recently with the full six piece band. Whatever the venue, ranging from the humble surroundings of the Tunbridge Wells Jazz Club to Leeds Castle, the Savoy Hotel London or the Grand at Brighton, his sheer quality as a musician stands out, as does the range of his repertoire. You need no telling that he has played with the very best in the business, yet, unlike some jazz musicians who seem to play for their own pleasure, Jonathan always sets out to entertain his audience. The standard of the trio is impressive. I have heard the “big” band only once so far but it was a joy, with a fine balance and extended solos you just had to listen to. I don’t get to hear him and the band often enough and, with my partner and friends, make a New Year resolution to put that right. "

"We thought Rory was great! We would like to give big thanks to Rory and the band for their performance at our wedding reception in Cheshire on May 21st this year. The jazz trio were great and enjoyed by everyone, they helped make our evening special - just what we hoped for! "Just wanted to thank you and Unique for making my 60th birthday party on 23rd June 2013 at the Amex Stadium, Brighton such a success. Your suggestion of the unplugged option was absolutely spot on. Great musicians, wonderful vocals and perfect song choices. You really picked up the vibe of the crowd and played what they wanted to hear. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend you."

"Jay played at my wedding from when the ceremony finished and also at my wedding breakfast, I got married two months ago and still all my guests are talking about is how fantastic Jay was, his motivation, creativity and emotion worked amazing with all the guests from all walks of life and he managed to judge them well to what he should or shouldn’t do around them. Not one person had a bad word to say about Jay i can honestly say he is a wonderful performer and an extremely nice person to deal with, any other event i may have in the future he will be my first point of call. A Class act! "

"“You were really great and everyone loved your music! For late night lindy we wanted a band to play a variety of tempos ranging between 130 and 180 bpm with the majority of the set staying around the 130-160 mark. We also wanted the odd one or two songs to be played at the higher end of the tempo spectrum, somewhere between 180 and 230 bpm. Ideally we didn’t want each performance to exceed the 4 minute duration because most of our crew are still building up their stamina. Swing Gitan met all our requirements and made an enormous contribution to a fantastic night. We can’t wait to get them back again.” "

"We were so glad we chose Casado for our wedding and happy to write a few words as a recommendation. With over 800 guests we needed to know we were in good hands, we needn’t have worried, from the very start they were really professional and everything was done with the guests in mind.
