"Couldn't recommend these guys enough! We booked Dave and his band for my mums 70th and they were fantastic ! Everyone loved them and they read the room really well (nice background music when people arrived then stuff for people to dance to). They brought all their own gear and only needed a plug socket, so setup was really smooth. And communication in the lead up was great - Dave was so friendly and helpful. Seeing my mum and dad dancing along to the music and having a great time was a real highlight - huge thanks to Dave and the band for an amazing night. Note, we had Dave on guitar and vocals, and someone on keys and bass - all top quality musicians."

"We booked Melisma Jazz at quite short notice for a garden party to celebrate our 5th Anniversary as a business. Sarah-Jane Morris was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was flexible in piecing together a quartet that suited our needs, and the atmosphere created by Sarah-Jane and her fellow musicians on the day was superb. Thank you so much Sarah-Jane for all that you did to make our event a special one for us, and we hope to have the pleasure of working with you again at some stage."

"Hi Sam! We would just like to say the biggest thanks, the evening went so well, everyone was buzzing! What a night we all had on Saturday! The band made our night so special for us and Dale and the band made that possible. We knew you were fantastic but on the night you lit up the sky and everyone thought the Band was amazing. Your help and advice sorting the stage in the lead up to our wedding was exceptional, you were so helpful, accommodating and reassuring when we had a question or query. Please pass on our sincere thanks to Dale and all the band who are all so gifted / talented, and so much fun! They absolutely made our wedding day one night that we will never ever forget! The dance floor was never empty, Dee and Mel were incredible so much charisma and simply Amazing! Thanks for making it such a special night for us family and our friends – you blew us away ! "I booked The Jive Trio to play at my husband’s 40th birthday party at our home. The trio played beautifully, they are a talented group of guys! The live acoustic music created a wonderful atmosphere on the day. The band were organised, prompt and a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend the Jive Trio for an event."

"The irony generation now get something to chew on while the unprejudiced youth can enjoy a superfresh, slightly rude, in-your-face trad. band with a grin lurking and samba licks in their pockets. There is buckets of charm, a delightful brew of brimming horns with pure party! "
