"I just wanted to say a massive thank you for your help in making our night a fantastic celebration, mainly due to your band. The set that you put together for the night was absolutely perfect and it didn’t take long for everyone to get up and dance the night away. An especially big thank you for taking charge of the microphone at the start of the evening and the extra song which you played as we all walked in for the meal. Everyone commented on what a great entrance it was, and it certainly helped to get people settled and talking straight away, rather than having that awkward silence! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your band, in fact I have already been asked for your details from a number of people who attended the party! "

"As you'll remember both me and Gemma were very happy and what's more very impressed with the bands performance. Using our vague guideline of suitable music we feel you interpreted our requirements perfectly and reflected it in the set. We had so many compliments on our wedding and most of them mentioned the band. I have personally recommended you twice since and would certainly call on you for any future events. "We thought Down for the Count did an outstanding job and so did all of our friends and family. Everyone could not stop raving about how great the music was. Honestly, we wouldn't have changed a thing and were so impressed. Most of all, it was so special to hear New York, New York as a closing song and we really appreciate your initiative to create those extra special touches for us! Without a doubt, we would recommend Down for the Count to any other friends getting married."

"The choice of band proved to be the perfect one. I booked five musicians to play swing and jazz for while our guests were dining. Little did I know a family member had arranged a special song close to me and my wife to be performed at the end. Everybody joined us to dance and the band went into some Motown songs and everyone kept dancing for an extra half an hour. I am so grateful to James and the band for their efforts. Brilliant musicians, but it goes beyond just playing music, they care about fine details to make your event special and were so charming with guests and family members. I had everybody comment on the entertainment and I personally recommend The Marvellous Motown Souls!"

"We can't thank Groove Allstars enough for the amazing service they provided pre-wedding, and the quality of their music on the evening of our big day itself. Emails and arrangements were sorted quickly and efficiently and the band were true professionals. They were able to accommodate our requests and were able to answer all our questions. "Hire this band for your party! They were phenomenal at our wedding last Saturday and had everyone dancing all night! They learned our first dance song especially for us and absolutely nailed it.
